    I want to add few more things for all you guys that there's a famous mall nearby that I visit a lot and previous phones including Samsung S22 used to give lot of network issues there like slow browsing, etc which makes phone lag/hang too if you would have noticed being on carrier 5g network and without wifi. But on my Xiaomi 14 the 5g internet in that mall also runs buttery smooth, Android auto connectivity is mind blowing immediate in my car, it updated the Android auto software of my car's Android Stereo running on Android 12 before running the first time to like make it so compatible believe it or not. Everytime it connects immediately. The connectivity like 5g, wifi, call connect is so so good that you cannot see any lag in phone which is superb, ofcourse being a premium phone they would have taken care of sar values. We all know if companies want they can go extra mile for customers to give what we would really want and Xiaomi has really done that in this phone according to my perfectionist personal experience. The sound quality is out of the world premium and loud with great bass.

    Do you missed the Samsung routines feature? Using s22 currently and planning to switch to mi14, feels like one ui has more feature and lesser bug

    • @ManpreetSingh-vf5oh
      @ManpreetSingh-vf5oh  Місяць тому +1

      No I never used those features. Definitely extremely less bugs or no bugs I would say. Samsung used to sometimes connect and sometimes not with Android auto was many places buggy/laggy, definitely fooling people because of it's brand value and great display. I have nothing against Samsung, it's just all the huge difference is making me tell you all this and I knew it when I started watching videos of Xiaomi 14 in November 2023. My brother recently bought Samsung S24 Ultra and it's awesome so Samsung gives all those great connectivity, etc features in ultra only which Xiaomi has given in the starting version, which is brilliant for many who cannot afford buying ultra versions or has a compact phone buying preference like I do.

    After using this device for many months , how would you rate the software coming from one ui . I get that you are coming from s22 which had a lot of connectivity issues but im asking about general software and bugs etc . After paying such amount of money for xiaomi 14 , how do you feel with ads or bloatware preinstallled . Also that checking for anti virus app makes the phone pretty cheap doesnt it ?. Im thinking whether to buy s24 or xiaomi 14 what do you think?

    • @ManpreetSingh-vf5oh
      @ManpreetSingh-vf5oh  Місяць тому

      Not at all, no ads and bloatware, I have disabled them. All have options. Nothing feels cheap. Samsung has a pathetic Knox software which slows the phone, and Samsung also has performance improving kiddish looking pre-installed software in battery settings. I actually like what Xiaomi has given it makes a difference, so totally depends on preference.

      @@naveenbmenon4588 I'd say go for it blindly. Still if you ask me why? They gave 120w charger, awesome black light nice cover. And Samsung and few other top companies exactly doing the opposite by giving nothing along with phone just because they have a name now, that's BS! First impression is the last! Xiaomi has hit a home run. Rest reasons already explained. Still your call! Or go only for Samsung S24 ultra not below to get the best like Xiaomi 14. • @ManpreetSingh-vf5oh

      No I haven't played a game yet but mark my words it cools very fast. As it heats while boost charging but starts cooling instantly once I remove from charging or it itself cools down during the over 80 - 90% charging mark. Others facing heating issues need to make sure they have bluetooth and wifi scanning always turned off in settings.

    Btw the dark wallpaper problem is actualy a feature. You can disable it from ( Settings-Display-More Dark mode options ) and dissable "Adjust wallpaper to Dark mode".
    One thing I do when I get a new phone I dig arround all of the settings and hidden menus and look for usefull features and dissable all ads on Xiaomi phones. I also recommend to disable MIUI Daemon and msa (I recommend watching a video about that).
    Hope this helps!

      It's probably HyperOS bug. I am still using the Xiaomi Mi 10T with MIUI 14 and don't have an issue but probably in a couple of weeks I'll buy the Xiaomi 14. Thanks for the honest review!

      And thanks for letting me know about msa and miui. It's there in settings but there are no ads in this beast, I don't even require to disable them, it's not a miui experience phone, it's way better than even Samsung even if few improvements are required as we say nothing is perfect.

    I might sound crazy..but there is a reason why Samsung and Apple doesn't provide charger in the box and the one you get is not 50-60-70 Watts but mere 25-30 Watts ..faster the charging faster your battery will start showing problems (like drain issue or anything of that sort) ..slower the charger your battery will thank you..yes in this fast paced world we dont want our mobile to take 1hr to charge.. but honestly I would rather put it on charge for 1hr and do my chores just to have a good battery life for long time..
    Also it is recommended to not to charge your phone beyond 85% and below 20% ..

    • @ManpreetSingh-vf5oh
      @ManpreetSingh-vf5oh  Місяць тому +1

      It's all bs, still Samsung battery drains like hell, no games n nothing, even wifi, bluetooth scanning off and closing apps in background still sucks. Live I charged 11 hours ago my phone to full 100% and it's at 65% left. Always boost charging which I can turn off as well but I never did, and no impact on battery. Ofcourse in long run I might face battery issues, every phone will face battery issues in long run as company needs to sell new products. But currently it's 10 on 10 and I feel in long run it will stay good. Xiaomi has made a difference, trust me have really given what people want, real good quality stuff is in the beast, not just on paper like Samsung n others do even at such a huge price.

      100% in 34 minutes and if you'll use ampere app you'll see it trickle charges as well after showing 100% charged on lock screen, I mean it's still charging and then in app after trickle charging is also completed then it shows "full" that happened in exact 40 minutes. You can just double tap to check battery percentage few times. All this to only get the fastest charging. Rest I would advise turn off boost charging to save battery drainage issues in future and always in settings search for "scan" and make sure bluetooth and wifi scanning are always off. I have noticed in all company phones even if you turn them off, they get enabled after a week or so maybe by some app, etc so always once in a week or so keep a check on it and turn them off and you will get a lot better battery back up.
