if only pallbearer would have a concert at the top of a mountain somewhere my life would be complete.
These guys definately wrote music history with that song...
The first time I heard them I didn't give them a chance. It was about six months ago. I despise myself for that. This is now really close to becoming my favorite band. This is my first time listening to them since that horrid day.
original music right here....awesome
bass players a monster
this song is so awesomely legendarly melodic and beautiful and, Like these guys to me are like the gods of melody in Sky!! also this song would sound great in a massive Cathedral!! One ofthe Best doom bands of the 21st century for sure in m opinion!! Yeah!!
I wish I was a musician. Finally checked this band out after browsing earthless, kyuss, electric wizard, sleep, the gates of slumber. You really can't go wrong in doom. There is great stuff out there.
These guys are amazing. Melodic Doom that is played tightly. I love metal, but it's a rare thing these days to witness any metal band with melodic vox and with a vocalist that can actually sing well. Pallbearer is easily my new favorite.
I've discovered this band because of this AWESOME channel. Keep doing the perfect job you've been doing for so many years unARTigNYC, thank you very much.
This fucking song comes on XM radio all the time. I have to listen to another radio station for 10 fucking minutes.
Really one of the best bands out there right now, all genres.
THE ABSOLUTE END OF ALL DOOM SONGS. ZERO PERCENT BETTER THAN THIS!!
This is their best song by far!
Watching this stoned is like experiencing the most powerful sound and performance of all time😂😂
love this band
TOURED WITH ANOTHER OUTSTANDING BAND ENSLAVED.
wow that crowd is hype for a doom metal band, love it
Cant wait to be there my self soon
saw these guys at awesome place bar in south bend indiana not too long ago. fucking amazing. woods of ypres really got me into doom metal and these guys keep me into it. fister kicked ass that night too
WOOW
please go on tour again. i didnt discover you guys until it was too late and you passed through Texas
They have such a good guitar tone
there have been more than one stoppages as it is very hard to stay away all at once...but I could say that I have started to put myself back on the right track again with my daily interests, thanks for asking
Cool -sounds great
This is kind of rare and weird that I discover this band and listen the album who is very good but it is the live video who tell me... yeah I want to see those guys live. \m/
He does get the notes though... after a second. Great performance, great band. Metal is just getting better
Good video.
I have a handful of pallbearer from Deathfest this summer. Vox are a little more pronounced in mine but bass intensity is dimmer. Check em out. There is even one untitled song.
oh....and they are absolutely one of my favourites now.
It's never too late to pick up an instrument man, and everythings learnable via the internet!
I love his beard and his WHW shirt
Fuckin awesome!!
The toll of a tour on a voice can and should be forgiven.
I recorded them when they came to SF (see my channel). Not sure why the vocals always sound so quiet. My guess is during the sound check, they don't compensate for the crushing power of the musi, and it drowns out the vocals when it all comes together.
SCORE!! I found this video after watching a video on the recent OK tornado, what are the chances!?
you could have used two camera.
dat voice too..
still one of the best newcomers of Doom around..
Is this spider on bass for example?
They sound utterly perfect...until the part which on the album where there's multitracked vocals. One or more of the bandmates need to step it up and do the backup vox live :) love these doomy dudes.
Nice Yob shirt!
Is that an Epiphone Genesis that he's using? It sure does look like one.
Vocals are MUCH stronger on the record. Also, not sure what's going on with the recording, but I keep hearing random "sour" (guitar) notes peppered throughout this performance. Not a great video.
Love this band, but those high notes...
what kind of amps are those on the left?
djembe man it looks like a univox 1221 or some other univox model
Yeah those high notes,,,Pity
Implying that the sound engineer has nothing to do with it.
I can really tell hes into the music...and to be honest, when youre at a show and listen to the vocals, its almost always impossible to hear the mistakes because the enchantment of the whole performance is completely engrossing, so not a big deal in my view.
i think these guy are my new favorite doom band....so much better than electric wizard
How low do they tune?
Sounds in the B or C range.
A E A D Gb B
:( no need to compare
Campbell moves a lot as he sings, so the mic doesent capture his voice as it should, he must learn to stay still on the mic in the singing parts, I know its difficult cause he said that it was never his plan to sing, he just wanted to be a guitar player, his voice is great so he just have to learn the drill onstage
The funny part is. EVERY gig is the same. I don't know why bands can never get the sound at least in the ballpark. There is always some overpowering instrument. Adjust it after the first song, how hard is it?
i love pallbearer so much but man what's wrong with him?who sang on the album wtf!!
haveaband same guy, his vocals have improved a huge amount. look up their show in Little Rock from this March. he has put a lot of work into improving his vocals. he cant get it 100% like it is on the album because of post production, but it was as close as I've ever heard it and ive been seeing them for 5 years now
I know, saw them in 2015 and they broke my heart, one of my fave bands defo, it's just he's struggling in that video, but i love them all the same!
haveaband yeah he was extremely spotty and inconsistent early on. he has now harnessed the power of the mullet, the show two weeks ago was the best ive seen by them so far. i want to see them play ashes.
so when are they going to quit attempting to tune their instruments? water is impossible to water down.
The vocals are fucking horrendous compared to the album! The vocals on the first album is what really makes the music stand out... This is a total letdown!
really good song, but they should fix their sound, sounds like teenagers in a garage.
