I have gone back to this video more times than I can count in the last year. THANK YOU for taking your time during this pandemic to teach us teachers how to utilize tests on Moodle. I am forever thankful! :)
Hi Kate, Thank you for the video, I have a question after the first question has been made, can you explain how to upload into the quiz? to let students know that they already have a quiz for the next days.
I am not sure I know what you mean by uploading into the quiz? You can attach images and documents I believe as you create the question. To let students know a quiz is available, you can enable activity tracking and set both a quiz opening and quiz closing dates. Once you set up those options, it should automatically show up on your students' calendars and dashboards in moodle. I also often email my students to let them know, especially if I haven't already announced on was coming during class. Here is a video about activity tracking: ua-cam.com/video/0F5GhJUXzus/v-deo.html
Hello Kate, I hope you can help me with this question: is it possible to copy an exam/quiz in Moodle? For example: I made a quiz in 2020 and I want to reuse it again this year. Is it somehow possible to copy the questions in an easy way? Thanks in advance!
Hi Kate, Is it possible to upload an entire multiple choice exam into something like a "question bank" or similar, and then have the test there and ready, or does each exam question need to be typed in manually to Moodle? Thanks--yes, I'm lazy and want to have my old exams uploaded so I don't have to do all that work :-) Thanks! This video was a great help already.
Hello Kate and thank you for the tutorial! I have noticed some irregularities in the marking of multiple choice quizzes on moodle ( correct answer chosen that has been marked wrong but displayed as the correct solution by the system ) I also notice systematic problems such as in completion of questions, the system not recognising change of student's solution chosen and recently notice that in the student review of a quiz he is not provided with the correct solution to the questions he has gotten incorrect. Kindly assist in this regard please. Thank you
Without seeing your set up, it's hard to know. You may want to reach out to your institutions instructional technologist. This resource may be helpful www.umass.edu/it/support/moodle/administer-review-and-grade-a-moodle-quiz
Kate, thanks from Spain, you are a wonderful teacher. On top of that, you are stunningly beautiful. And as a final comment...I find your throat clearing issues ...EXTREMELY ADORABLE.!!!

thanks for the video. Is the Quiz the same as the exam? is there no process of creating an exam?
Thanks very much for the video. Very helpful. I was wondering if there's a way to add a couple extra credit questions to a Moodle Quiz?

This might answer your question: docs.moodle.org/39/en/Import_questions
Hello, thanks for the video.
Can we add question groups in one test/exam/quiz? Like if I want to add subject wise group of questions in one quiz.
Excellent!

Thank you so much for your effort
nice video, can i know how set a time for each question? not total time for the all quiz !!
Hi Maarouf,
Setting up time for every question as far as I know it is not possible to do it.
Hi Kate, Kindly tell me how to add explanation to the correct answer
Thank you, excellent.
With this tool, how can you create a test that, based on the student's response, leads them to a different answer?
Can anyone tell me what theme is she using
how/what do students send back to me the test problems and answers?
Ok
...forget about options in the beginning!...just take us thorough a simple test and students return it to us................

Thank you so much!
My challenge is seeing the grades or the students responses to the questions. I do not appear to have this ability.
how to make a quiz for only one student of 400 students?
