Hey man listen, as one of those people who watch and love all off vlogmas, do what you need to friend. It's so much better to try and fail than to not try at all. As someone who knows a lot of freelancers, you guys generally don't get nearly enough brakes. I honestly hope you enjoy yourself. We love ya man!

Honestly Vlogmas has been what has it possible for me to have a Christmas spirit at all the last few years. I adore the series. But I also adore you, and I support you with or without Vlogmas. I will miss the nostalgic Christmas cheer as I wait for the 24th(and 25th) episode of Vlogmas and opening my Christmas gifts as I watch it. But, I'm super excited for the podcast! So I'll be looking forward to that and not be bummed out! Plus, you will be taking care of yourself which is all I can ask for so I'm not going to complain too much. I'll miss Vlogmas though
Dude, you always seem so incredibly busy all the time. Stopping Vlogmas short for the sake of your own relaxation is more than okay. Take some real time off and enjoy the staycation. You've more than earned the break.

As one of these few, please take care of yourself and do whatever it is you need to do! You should take a real break for yourself-you deserve it. Plus, I understand the money and job side of UA-cam and free-lancing so please do not apologize for taking that into consideration as necessary. VlogMas is a nice distraction from my life this month but I would much rather you stop it doing it than you forcing yourself to. Do whatever is best for you, Jackson. At the end of the day, I’ll still support you. Hope your work-break and Christmas vacation go well!

Enjoy your break
I'm one of the people who enjoy vlogs and like Christmas, so vlogmas is great, IMO. But I fully support not finishing out the last few days of the vlogging series if you feel like it's doing more harm than good in your life. I enjoy them, but I get it. Enjoy the break in the full extent that you can without worrying about video making work.
☼ it is probs the yt algo tinkering that is playing w/the subs number. i do think that the daily vids may be too much: but...the bell only going to 9+ is already pretty unusable, so idk.

Eh, the loss won't last. A lot of us are hitting unsub on xmas based channels for the season, because of things we've experienced, and just want an away during this time. Chances are we'll be back. I stayed on this year and am just ignoring the notifications. But I'm pretty sure that's what that's about. I pulled it last year on a number of channels, and resubbed in mid January.
But yo! have a merry time off! and do get some lovely R&R! Glad ya came out to let us know, and we'll see ya next year!

Don't sweat it. You do not need to be perfect. Not to please us, and not to please yourself. Take it from a guy who has a similar problem with this. Jackson, take some time for yourself, recharge, get some other stuff done or just relax. You'll feel better and more like tackling all that other stuff when you get back. maybe ease up on yourself a little and don't overcommit yourself. Just sayin'.

Why on earth would one lose subs because they're making Xmas vlogs?
I totally get why you end vlogmas early, all the reasons you give are valid. So though on the one hand it's a bit sad, you defi itely need to do what's good for you. Maybe if you're scared of losing subscribers through vlogs, maybe you could make another channel and do vlogs on there? That way you don't have to be scared of people unsubscribing because of it (even if I don't get why anyone would do that at all). But I'm sure you've already thought of that and have good reasons not to do that.
Also I'm sorry I don't comment more frequently, I guess I'm so used to getting lost in the crowd I forget that comments can still matter to creators.
Do you know about the Enneagram? I'm wondering because I think we are the same type, but... I also don't know you. lol At any rate, I really enjoyed learning about it and it helped me gain new insights that have facilitated personal growth. So, I'm just throwing it out there.
