I can stand for the brother in blue. Working as a officer is a tough job. The money is not even worth the life when you have a family at home waiting for you. I can feel the brother. I’m in the same line but we city cops have it more easy when our back up is less then 5 mins away. This brother might been a sheriff deputy with back up at 45 to 1 hour away. We take domestic calls seriously, even verbal altercation cause it can lead to physical. But domestic violence is one of the most terrifying calls, because when you get you don’t know what will happen or the horror you will see. The call probably did not sound as an emergency call so the dispatch did not make a call to the officers as an emergency call. Therefore it did not come in as a #1 priority.
