I traveled my way across Manitoba in search for some really nice sized Manitoba Northern Pike fishing at Lake of the prairies! using marcum pursuit hd camera to capture crisp 1080p footage of pike ice fishing and walleye ice fishing in Manitoba. Lake of the prairies is renown for excellent numbers of large sized Pike Fishing and walleye ice fishing it was an amazing 2 days ice fishing manitoba Northern pike and more importantly a great time! ice fishing with an underwater camera and watching underwater Northern pike strikes and walleye strikes is something new for me and it’s so exciting in real time watching underwater pike and manitoba walleye. there’s something about underwater footage of northern pike and walleye that’s just so cool! underwater pike and walleye seems like it would be hard. and trust me underwater walleye and manitoba northern pike filming is hard. you need the time of day, location and patience. lots of it!! and don’t get me started with manitoba northern pike getting tangled in underwater camera cord! Manitoba northern Pike are high in numbers at lots of our lakes especially dauphin lake that is why I chose dauphin lake as the first place to really test the underwater walleye and Northern pike camera filming ice fishing for northern pike and walleye. Northern Manitoba pike ice fishing has always been a part of my life starting as a little kid. I am very lucky to have such great pike ice fishing here in Manitoba. my favourite place for Manitoba pike and walleye is on a mud flat. even better if there is structure change near by either a drop off or a shallow shelf. these places funnel Manitoba walleye and northern pike in an isolated area with mud flat pike more predominant because of the amount of food available!! if you have never been to Lake of the prairies for pike fishing and great manitoba walleye fishing I would highly recommended it is an excellent place to be for amazing Manitoba ice fishing and create some memories you wont forget!!

Good point about having the CO detector. DONT TRUST THE LOW OXYGEN SHUT OFF ON THE PROPANE HEATERS! On the really cold days I try not to open the shelter and tend to keep the vents closed. I have noticed I get headaches after those days. I have to remind myself to refresh the air inside the shelter throughout the day even it temporarily cools off inside. It can be a killer!

Yes very important about the CO detector. We often overlook propane. As it’s a odourless and silent killer but we enjoy the warm and comfort it provides. Stoked you enjoyed my little trip out. Was happy about the sun shining and just just below freezing temps and not crazy slushy. I’m enjoying the overall warmer temps but the slush def makes things bit more of a challenge

Great trip bro! A couple nice pike to the deck! 16:14 had a fish do this to me the other day, it’s annoying, but cool to see how fast they can feel somethings off.
It was a very cool time. The sunshine made the trip 👌 all it takes is found is just a little too much resistance and they’ll know something is off and just let go. Good learning experience. Too bad tho that one was thicc
