One thing I've always loved about Levi is that after all the loss he's suffered he hasn't become desensitized to death. He still cares and worries about losing his comrades. Can't say the same for Erwin 😂

The only person that I would say has a pair of balls to fight him back is Erwin who went toe to toe Levi and mikkay bullied him in a fight and mikkasah to some extent has pinned his small ass to the ground and mikkay put his head in muddy water and made him gobble it all up

I love how well executed this scene was. Levi is usually calm and composed, but when he saw Kenny he lost composure, showing there was a personal connection between them. Kenny's introduction was so badass

Then you are told to finish your cut and you try to sleep but all you can think is that scene where Levi flies through buildings that you haven't finished for four tireless days because you still have to draw the shadows. But yes, It is indeed worth it ^_^
His combat skills and situational awareness are unmatched unlike Mikasa who lacks the later.
And moments like these show the contrast between those two. Very impressive.
Mikasa is good when she isnt whining and yelling after Eren, the most annoying aspect of her personality, levi is just better in every way

At 1:16 you can clearly see Levi obliterate the door but then at 1:24 you can see that the door is back BUT then by 1:39 is gone again. Still my favorite scene of all time.

interesting. but this is an example of WIT being smart with their use of CGI. I'm going to ruin this scene for the people who have a hard-on for episodes being done 2d hand drawn animation. If you look carefully you will notice that a lot of the backgrounds were done in CGI.
This was done because the dynamic camera movements would have been impossible to do within the amount of time they were given for this season. so they ended up doing the backgrounds in CGI and have the camera move in the virtual space.
Thus allowing the animator to bring his A-game for animating Levi and all of the environmental objects he interacts with.

One thing that's really cool about kenny as a villain: he's the only one at this point that made Levi lose it. Up until now he was always calm despite the danger and was cold despite the situation. With Kenny though it shows him truly angry and nervous
Also Kenny shows that all Ackermans are born superhumans, the guy was fast enough to catch a shotgun shot with a wooden chair and just get pushed backwards
The animation for this fight was absolutely beautiful~ The fact that you can spot Levi's reflection in one of the frames too is insane! There's so much detail and work put into it, it's more then enough to put this anime on my watch list.

Kenny was the the hardest matchup for Levi, they're both Ackermans after all.
One of the best examples of some of the smoothest animation throughout anime! I love how Levi used his ODM to not only harpoon a dude, but to also use that same dude's corpse as a meat shield is amazing fighting choreography (and fits for Levi's fighting style).
I come back to this scene every once in a while to rewatch how well-made this is! ^^
