I 3D printed a blue bowl, it's a good copy and works on flour gold and fly poops and bigger, I've made other sluices for cleanup too and all it needs is a pump and rheostat variac to slow or speed the pump. Perhaps I'll send you one. You guys are living the life for sure.

Brrr cold gold. Hope u heated that water. That's what I do when winter messing around. I boil the water so I can last a bit. I got an idea from your gold buddy. I'm going to flip the dream mat on my banjo pan, make it a stand and let the dirt run into the pan instead of out of it. Then I can create a micro mini sluice. Got a new fish tank pump. Might be enough flow for that. We will see. Got some rigging to do so I can run the town barn dirt

It's abit warmer than camp frozen toes

i was highbanking in colder weather and the impeller on the pump froze to the housing causing the impeller to tighten onto the shaft and it blew the center out of the cast iron impeller and stalled the motor. at 39.2 F water is at its thickest state where it has least amount of oxygen in it. try doing a test with the water at 39.2 F and see if flour gold will fall out of suspension to be captured by that mat you use
If I set this up again in cold weather I'll have a thermometer to check the water temp.

I think you boys just like camping, cooking and eating,the prospecting never seems to net as much as the camaraderie.
The prospecting gives everything else a purpose.
I can't go a day without my coffee. Had to for my surgery .
This makes me want a coffee.
You should try egg cleared coffee, no filters needed great for a cup of Joe in the country. Or perk on a fire, or. Flair Go portable espresso maker that is off grid, those are my favorite(s) as they are all off grid and can be made with a simple stove or fire and something to heat the water in. And a simple hand grinder goes a long way. Perhaps a coffee special video?
