The Strangers looks just like the original. The only difference seems to be the location and the reason why the couple is there
That’s what the writers were going for, the next two movies are supposed to explain more and give a prequel
I think the couple take control and that's the difference.
I'll watch Strangers again just bc I never got to watch the first one in theatres. (I was too young).

The only movie that I would potentially watch is "Snack Shack". Only because of the actor with the blue shirt and the awful mullet at 22:15. That's Christian James. Better known as Christian James Ballis from Canton, Georgia. I went to church with him about 11 years ago. He was in the horror movie "Hell Fest" and CW's show All-American.

The first one was based on a true story. So now they made a movie the second time around it’s not based on the true story.
The first one wasn't even really based on a true story. That was just a marketing ploy. I think this is actually the 3rd movie. I watched the first one and liked it but didn't even bother with pt 2

Horizon: an American saga of how Europeans bettered their lives by stealing the land from the indigenous people who were there first and now generations later tell people from other lands who come to America to better their lives to go back to where they came from. There is no word for 'irony' in the American vocabulary.

I don't know if I'm just getting old and cynical but all these movies look like garbage expect Bike Riders.
It would be nice if they told the truth about these western movies. I guess it would be a short movie if they told the truth. And hurt so.e feelings.

Strangers: Chapter 1, the movie everyone knew they didn't want. The first one was such a let down, go-nowhere film and this one looks equally disappointing.
