This is gorgeous!! I laughed at your shoe story. Haha! I don't like tennis shoes but I do wear them when needed...and hiking boots...mine are actually tennis shoes by Columbia. With the rocky terrain here in CO I think I need some ankle support so may update those in the new year.
@@GalaxyGirlCreations my hiking "tennis shoes" are actually hiking shoes. They are a lot more rugged than the shoes I wear for working out. Wanna hear why I don't like tennis shoes? LOL...I was raised in a religion that required girls to only wear dresses and skirts. As a teenager, that was hard, especially for PE. I hated how tennis shoes looked with a dress or skirt and I still wince now. My exception to that is I WILL wear those tiny sneakers with a dress-you know the kind that offer no support and slip on? I think I didn't like how bulky regular tennis shoes looked with a dress. It's a weird hang-up...but I am weird anyway...so it's all good. LOL
Great layout! I love that you and your husband are adventurous! I have a friend that loves to hike, and when we bought our house in Prescott, she convinced me to invest in hiking shoes. I am an athletic shoe person, and thought the hiking shoes would be uncomfortable. I found a pair of Merrills that weren't very expensive, and they were comfortable right out of the box. I had to try on several pair before I found the right one. I have a plate and 8 screws in my left ankle, so can't wear the boots, but the shoes are great, mostly for the traction. If you change your mind and want to keep you white shoes white ;-) you might give them a try.
Haha, I’ve had Merrill’s before, I wore them on an overnight Girl Scout Amazing Race event… blisters, ugh. I have wide feet and a plethora of foot issues from many years of dance so finding shoes that work is a chore, especially cute or dressy. I did recently find some super cute and comfy sandals though so I have some new cruise shoes😁
I use standard cardstock off cuts or the 4.5x6.5” photo mats from Hobby Lobby cut into 2” squares and I use thes pockets: amzn.to/4iBvV6C it’s a bit of a pain to add more and have to move them around each time because I keep them in order by type then ROYGBIV. I know some people put them on a ring but I like to look at a bunch at a glance.
Love this & the back story 💙
Thank you Sharon!
Lovely😊
Thank you Kathy, glad you like it!
A gorgeous LO! Love the use of the rub ons and stamping.
Thank you Bette Lou!
Love it!
Thank you so much Susan!

Thank you and I’m laughing too. I love that you don’t wear tennis shoes but you wear them for hiking.

Gorgeous layout well done with the stamping too. I have a similar stamp set from CTMH like that. Had me thinking I should get it out
Thank you! I love those stamps, I thought they fit perfect for this page and yes, you should get yours out.

@@GalaxyGirlCreations I have wide feet too, but not so many foot issues other than broken toes! What kind of dance did you do?
I did tap and jazz mainly. Once we were a certain age we always wore high heeled tap shoes and I think had a lot to do with it.
What do you use for your ink swatches? I am trying to figure out how to do mine. 🙂
