guys in that old classic they've used aftermarket exhaust which decreases back pressure and initial pickup whereas in bs6 stock exhaust is used. So if bs4 has stock then it should have a neck to neck race

Am going from splendour pro to Royal Enfield, am 5.5 height, this is going to be my first royal enfeld experience, most of my ride time would be in city, i might take the bike to long road trips occasionally,I was thinking of buying either classic 350es or Honda Hiness.
What would you recommend?
I would take the test rides, however, please tell me one thing,which would you recommend classic or interceptor? For a first timer?
There is new classic launched end of this year, should I wait for it or buy classic earlier.
Please let me know

Secondly it matters from driver to driver on how he manages to play with the torque
New classic will always beat old.
First of all.....remove the after market exhaust...u will gain the speed as like the new one classic....no doubt
The reason why new classic gains good initially is because it has a tad bit more torque

Bhai top speed 110 hai new born ka iis liye piche reh gayi. I own a Meteor and uska bhi same hai 115 kms. 120 ke liye bahut jaddojahed kerni padti hai aur favourable conditions mein hi ja sakti hai. Potential hai but speed lock kiya hua hai RE ne🤦🏽
