    Thank you, you explained this very well, I’ve been card crafting since I was three, so that’s almost 57 years! This is one of the best demonstrations of this card I have seen, so I’ve subscribed and given a thumbs up, I look forward to watching many more.

    I've seen so many of these videos, but, yours is the first I've seen to actually give us a "system" as to how to place the glue on the flower petals !!! It really helps a LOT to know that aspect of making these pop - up cards. TYSM for sharing this video with us. It is so very helpful. Hope you're still making them. 🥰

    Hi guys :) If gotten a lot of comments about missing measurements. But if you look closely at 1:28-1:32 , you will see both measurements for the blue flowers and the base of the card :) I hope this clarifies any future misunderstanding :)

    Greetings from Finland 😊 did you use just normal paper glue for these?

    • @NataliasToolbox
      @NataliasToolbox  6 років тому +1

      Hi! 😊 You can say it normal - but it’s not runny, because that will ruin the paper and make it go completly soft. So use a glue stick, as I did :)

    I have thicker paper, would it work?

    • @NataliasToolbox
      @NataliasToolbox  8 років тому

      How thick is your paper? If its more than 70-90g/m2 (grams per square meter) which is the weight of normal copy paper, then I would have to say no. If the paper is too thick, the flower would be hard to fold and it would be hard to keep the card closed. :)

    • @BelieveNoGod

      I made the same mistake as you. Remember to only put glue quite close to the edge. Not the whole petal/leaf.

    • @NataliasToolbox
      @NataliasToolbox  8 років тому

      Thank you^^ The card is quite tricky to make at first, but once you get the hang of it, it'll be easy for you to make ^^ When I made tutorial, I had made and ruined 2 bouquets, but I got it in the end ^^ So practice makes perfect ^^ And like BelieveNoGod says, try to only put glue close to the edge, not on the whole leaf ^^

    hi! i'm obsessed with your diy videos. can you please make a video on how to decorate on a paper easily by drawing with a pen or something like it like you did it in the flowers? because i'm not so good at it as you are....

      @NataliasToolbox  8 років тому

      Wow thank you very much, I'm glad you like my videos^^ It's heartwarming! I would love to do that, however when I decorate, the result or the decorations, really depends on the card that I'm making - so it's kinda hard for me to give you some specific card decorations.

    I just finished making this card for my mother-in-law. It looks wonderful, thank you, but I can't open the card all the way. The bouquet must not be fitting correctly and it keeps the card from totally opening. It opens about 75%. Any idea what I did wrong?

    • @NataliasToolbox
      @NataliasToolbox  6 років тому

      That’s awesome!👍 I had the same issue once, and that was because I accidentally glued the some flowers shut - and because of that I couldn’t open it properly or all the way. Have you maybe done that aswell?

    Hi! Can the pop-up flowers be made with regular construction paper? Or does it need to be origami paper? Thanks!

    • @chelsea7534
      @chelsea7534 8 років тому

      Also, did you use origami paper to make the flowers?

    • @NataliasToolbox
      @NataliasToolbox  8 років тому

      Well, in theory you can make the flowers in construction paper. However, it might be quite difficult, because the construction paper is quite hard to work with. But I did use origami paper for creating these flowers. It's much easier to work with :) I hope this helps :)

    In MY opinion, the only thing really missing are the measurements. That's likely why so many people are having a difficult time. Once they have the measurements of the squares, I think it will be much easier. The first, and only one I've tried so far was too small, at three inch squares. I'll wait to hear back before I try again. Thank you so much for sharing. These really will make a fun and unique gift.

      I always include measurements for everything in my tutorials, so I cannot understand what people are so frustrated about. At 1:28-1:32 you can see both the measurements for the blue squares (aka the flowers) and the base of the card. If you don't mind, can you please clarify what is exactly missing, because I want to fix whatever misunderstanding there might be. :)

    This is a great tutorial and the flowers worked out great! Just one question, the white paper 18 cm by 20 cm is no where near big enough to fit the flower, and looks much smaller than your's on the screen. Can anyone help me??

    • @NataliasToolbox
      @NataliasToolbox  7 років тому

      I'm glad you found it useful :) The two cards that I made (the yellow and the blue flowers) are the same size (18cm+20cm). But if you find it too small, you can enlarge the base card (white paper) and make it like: 20cm+25/30cm :)
