Hi, I'm so sorry for your loss. Here is my experience: In my preconception appointment my ob told me the same - that my TSH was 3.6. She explained, as you mentioned, that it is preferable that it is below 2.5. I researched about it and even thought it's in the normal range for non-pregnant people, it really is recommended that it's below 2.5. And after doing a bit more research, this slightly high level is linked to early miscarriage (I'm sorry I can't quote where I got it from). So I went ahead and started taking a low dose of levothyroxine as she recommended. I will be getting tested this week or next to see if my levels of TSH are lower.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I do know a lot of people that have chosen to go that route as well and I think it could potentially be beneficial or at the very least not harmful. I personally don’t want to start for now, but I might change my mind in the future! It’s something I’m definitely keeping a close eye on. I’m seeing a fertility specialist now and she recommended to leave it alone for now, as it’s looking more likely that my miscarriages are due to genetic abnormalities. We’ll see how it goes! 🤞😬
I just came across this because I just went through a miscarriage and our timeline/order of events was nearly identical. Though this was my first miscarriage (I have a 2 yr old son), I felt weird knowing I haven’t been too emotional regarding this. It doesn’t mean I didn’t want this baby but like you, I had my guard up a little during pregnancy and knew something wasn’t right the moment I started spotting, it was noticed at my ultrasound that I was also measuring 5-6 weeks when I should have been 7w4d. I haven’t seen your other videos yet but wanted to thank you for your transparency, especially with the pain because the pain was worse than I could have imagined. Wishing you the best of luck! 💛
That is exactly what happened to me I was like eight weeks but I was showing six weeks there was no heartbeat. I ended up having the surgery but what they found was my thyroid was like yours just a little off they would prefer it to be less they put me on medication I’ve been on it ever since and I stopped having miscarriages once they put me on thyroid medicine and added progesterone shots and baby aspirin. Just sharing that with you. Prayers and hope for a healthy pregnancy for you ♥️
Sorry to hear about your miscarriage , It's like I'm feeling your pain . My first pregnancy was ok not spotting during it and no pain when I was pushing out my daughter but the stitches made me cry because it was painful than pushing out my daughter, the reason why is because they stitch me the other day after I had her. But my second pregnancy I had a miscarriage .first I miss my period so I went to the clinic to check up on my health because I was getting some itching down there you know what I mean , so when I was in the doctor office I told her about my miss period and she let mi do a pregnancy test and it was positive . So she told me to don't have any sex and prescribed a cream to rub on the outside of the area I'm feeling itchy because she didn't see any infection in my urine that the nurse test . So about a week pass and I still feels the itching before it finally go away. But one day when I was 8w&5d pregnant I was washing some clothes and after I finished wash and pin out and then come back in the house to rest . I went to use the bathroom and after I finished pee and wash my self with some water ,I then wipe myself with tissue and saw a very light pinkish discharge on the tissue. So I wipe again and see a little bit more. So I put on a pad then start to Google about my condition and the same thing that I was thinking about it's the same thing I read about first which is miscarriage .so I call my husband told him then I call my mom and she was telling me what to look out for because she go through the same thing once then a stillbirth after the miscarriage. So it was until the evening before the blood started to flow little , so the next day I went to the hospital and see a doctor , she sent me to pee so she could have it to do a pregnancy test but when I went to pee I felt some falling in the toilet and at that time I thought it was the baby because of how it looks . So I go back into the office and tell her what I just go through and she test the urine and say it is positive but I had to do a ultrasound to know if the baby is ok . So I did the ultrasound a vaginal one and as soon as that thing go up inside of mi I started to feel pain it's like it helps to lift the dead fetus off the wall of my uterus. I ask the lady if there is a heart beat she didn't want to tell mi I tell her that she could tell me because I already know that I am having a miscarriage because this is not like me to bleed during my pregnancy. So she tell me she did not hear any but the doctor will confirm with mi what's going on. So as soon as I go the result I read it and then go to the hospital and the doctor take it and look at it and let mi know that I was having a miscarriage. Then he give me the ultrasound results to give the people at the front desk to put it on my file . While I was there waiting the pain started to get more intense and mi pad could over flow any time and I didn't have anymore on me . About six hours past and evening come and I don't hear anyone called my name to see a doctor so I get up and go around a&e area where the doctors are and I see the doctor that assisted me before , so I ask him what's up even tho it wasn't my time so he tell mi the about the d&c procedure and I never like the sound of it plus who I going to take care of my daughter . So after him explain him ago tell mi to go and sit down till them called my name to see a doctor. Mi fi go sit down again and wait how much more hours , after them nah treat mi like a patient that needed emergency . So I went home and feel the pain. About 7-8pm I went to the bathroom to pee and I also bring my phone to take pics of what I am seeing .so while I was peeing I feel like something was coming out of my vagina so I pushed and I feel pain when I push and it fell in the toilet. So I use something to take it out and when I look at it I realized that it was the baby cause I saw the feet and arms. I measured it in my hand beside my middle finger and it was 3incehs long . On the ultrasound results it say that the baby is 5w&5d but for me I was at 8w&5d pregnant when I started to miscarry the baby. I feel pain for 2-3 days after and bleed about two weeks straight. For me I would say having a miscarriage I More painful than childbirth. One thing i thank God for is that I never got a infection after , but for three months straight after having the miscarriage I feel similar pain ever time I had my period.
God is goin to allow ur baby to come... Ur miracle is coming.... Tust mi I know ur feeling had 3 miscarriage but I'm trying this month I'm in my two weeks wait..
@@nickiandnatty6420 Oh NO!!!!!! 😢💔 I had a d&c 4 weeks ago. We did try without waiting my first sycle. I'm now in my two weeks wait, but I don't think I am. It will be my 3rd pregnancy. I'm scare to lose it again. We have to keep trying and be strong, so we can eventually have our Rainbow babies. 🤞🤞👶
Currently me going through all this Friday I get my second part of blood drawing . First time going through time going through this thanks for all the advice .
I have Hypothyroidism. I've been doing a lot of research. TSH has to be under 2.5, preferably under 2. I also had 2 miscarriages, one chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks, thyroid was at 4.65. Second pregnancy I had a D&C at 9 weeks, baby stopped growing at 7 weeks 3 days. When baby stopped growing my TSH was 2.58, 5 days before then. My fiance, my family and I, think thyroid could have been the problem. Baby stopped growing 5 days after that day when they did the blood test. Btw, today been three weeks since the D&C, we are already trying again. I got ovulation pick today, with the clearblue digital test. Hopefully this time we can have our healthy baby Rainbow. One more thing about the thyroid. When we are pregnant, TSH goes even higher because we are using more hormones to provide for our baby too. Just you can have an idea. My levels were last time at 2.58, now after the HCG went down because no longer pregnant, my levels of TSH with the same dose of medication, went down to 0.34. My dr lower my medication a tiny bit now. Only a tiny bit because I'm still trying getting pregnant, so it needs to be low, so it will be balanced for the pregnancy. I hope my experience helps. 🙏🥰😘 🌈
@@yasminxo9955 It is recommended to have it under 2.5, preferably under 2, but not necessarily been on 4 will cause the miscarriage. Some women have a normal pregnancy with a little elevated tsh. There are other thing that can be happening. A fertility doctor can send those test to you if you have multiple losses. I did all those tests after my second miscarriage and everything was good. I got pregnant again for 3rd time and I also lost it. This time we send the baby to the laboratory. The result was Triploidy from mother side. You can search online for a better understanding what is it. It is that my egg didn't divide as supposed to. Baby forms with 23 chromosomes from mother plus 23 from father, 46 total. My egg didn't divide so it sends all 46 and baby had 69 total. It is not a generic problem or the age. Doctor says it is just something that can happen to anyone. Just try to keep your TSH checked, but again, there are some other things that can happen. I'm currently trying again. I lost my 3rd pregnancy a little over two months ago. I'm not giving up; it will happen eventually. Baby dust to you. 🤞🙏👶❤
