I'm fairly new to speed running, and huge shout out to @RazShifrin for steering me to your store. I started with a bone stock Limitless V1 to build my chops. I've modified it over some months to include several of your parts, and I have to say that the speed gains were phenomenal. I've recently started a V2 build on which I'm using several additional parts that you offer. This video makes me believe that I'm on the right track with what I purchased already. I appreciate that you are sharing your build, as it gives me a few new plateaus to strive for. Thank you for sharing!
I just purchased the infraction inner fenders and couldn't use them in my speed build and was about to sell them on Ebay already trimmed but yesterday I saw what you did to them on this build and now they work perfectly and look way better. super stoked I saw this before I sold them.
Wow, I've been out of competitive RC for a bit and to see this level of engineering is awesome. I raced 1/8 IC buggy but I can see myself getting into this as it looks 1/8 scale off-road based in areas. I didn't expect to see such long lower control arms. Great stuff.
They fit into the Scorched Parts Arrma diff housings. I specially made them to take the hobao gear sets. 6mm through shaft, 8mm pinion shaft, high quality gear cutting and cheaper than arrma. Honestly, I’m surprised the option to run the Hobao gears hasn’t taken off more. With the Hobao gear set and lockers in our housing, I’ve honestly never felt a diff setup run so smoooooth!
Its very easy to set You gear mesh without super fancy expensive mounts. Loosen the grub screws on the pinion, set your mesh without fighting the motor magnets and tighten your pinions. Done.
@scorchedparts8013 I dont use locktite at all. I put my motor in the mill and tighten onto the shaft and spot drill a little dimple on the motor shaft for the grub screw to bite into. Im yet to have one come loose after starting the technique.
I happen to be a satisfied victim of the addiction buying your high quality products David. 🤑 Take all my money. Please make this chassis. I bought 12”x24” carbon plates a couple years ago to try and make my own. I gave up trying to find a place that was willing to water jet two chassis’s for me. Looks like the exact length I was wanting (a little over 9 inches longer). Pretty much 2) center diffs, 2) long center drive shafts and 1) short center drive shaft In length.
The problem with this chassis is what body and what wheels. It’s been customised to suit wheel widths and bodyshell widths that are not ‘standard issue’. After ROSSA I think I will make a limited edition version.
@@scorchedparts8013 I will be very much looking forward to that if you decide to make a limited edition! Or if it’s still profitable to sell custom sizes if I purchased like 5 or 10 at a time? I know how busy you are as well so I’d be patient. Not right now but I’m the near future I’d be interested in that. I bought big moldable 2mil plastic sheets to try to make my own bodies… We’ll see how that goes..
In a speed run, you only use a very small amount of the battery charge. You could do 10 or 20 runs without needing to re-charge, but your voltage would be less each time.
Hi David, here from Texas in the US states. Congrats on your success🎉. Thanks for sharing your amazing build. Hope you get a new top speed at Rossa. I see you running TP motors. What series are they?
That build looks so perfect!
Keven about to send it to the 🌙
Kevin mirip RC kamu 😅😅😅
He’s applied your servo mounting location at the front💪 I got hi hopes for you too 🫵
David builds a lovely car ❤
Wating on the 4 motor car update Kevin👍
Who ever comes up with the reliable tyres is going to clean up . Super epic build Mr Scorched.👍🏼
I’ll be trying a couple of brand new ideas in a couple of weeks. I have high hopes that this builds on what I’ve been doing so far
@@scorchedparts8013Kevlar compound 😉
Nice build David. Thanks for showing us your car. Congrats again!

Totally wicked build deserving of the World Record 🎉
Good luck for the next round 🍀
@user-ct5gm2mp5z yeah yeah yeah …. Do you really think this sh1t works 🤪
Thank you for showing. Not lot of people reveal their build under the hood
Great job dave

Awesome stuff David....
Really good work. Impressed with the engineering. Looking forward to seeing more runs with it.
Me too!
Wonderful build!

Good luck Dave love your work 👍👍👍👍
Fantastic engineering so very impressive! Good luck with your next run. 250mph maybe?
Amazing build congratulations again and I can’t wait to see the next one 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🚀🚀🚀🔥🔥🔥💯🤙🏽
Secrets revealed 👍👍👍 really nothing to hide great job fella … and no springs ?? Wow possibly got a point there🧐🧐🧐
If your surface is good and smooth, really no need for shocks in my experience. Trouble is, not many folks get a really smooth surface to run on
@@scorchedparts8013of coarse… also at those speeds you really don’t have a choice… less bounce may help eliminate car going airborne …
amazing stuff. Is the Hobao diff gears a straight fit into the limitless diff housings?
They fit into the Scorched Parts Arrma diff housings. I specially made them to take the hobao gear sets. 6mm through shaft, 8mm pinion shaft, high quality gear cutting and cheaper than arrma. Honestly, I’m surprised the option to run the Hobao gears hasn’t taken off more.

What rod ends are you using for the suspensions delete? having trouble finding beefy enough ones that will still fit in the arms
Are those the most powerful motors and controllers available?
Its very easy to set You gear mesh without super fancy expensive mounts. Loosen the grub screws on the pinion, set your mesh without fighting the motor magnets and tighten your pinions. Done.
Ah, a thats one way I suppose. I always Loctite my pinions on, so wouldn’t work well in my case.

Part# for the Dunlop rod ends.
Do you make trident shafts for a Typhon 6S? Awesome build!!
Yes. They’re on the website - the 114/116mm size trident. SWB arrma has horrible shaft angles so the trident helps a LOT
Given you start a run with full batteries, what's the state of them at the end?
Are they flat or is there enough for another run?
In a speed run, you only use a very small amount of the battery charge. You could do 10 or 20 runs without needing to re-charge, but your voltage would be less each time.
@@scorchedparts8013
So using a smaller battery wouldn't work? Interesting.. 🤔👍
Hope all goes well for the next speed run, Kevin needs a challenge. 😆
Someone actually showing their secrets??? In this hobby??? Everyone grab your pitchforks!
Cool. 5% Arrma, 95% aftermarket custom parts.
Appreciate you sharing your build. I know that’s sacred but as a parts manufacture the pressure is on from your consumers.
This Is A Vary Nice Setup ~ Thanks For Showing ~ Are The Diffs Lock Or No?
Yes, all locked.
Are you using SMC lipo’s ?
I have custom SMC packs for it. 👌

Hi David, here from Texas in the US states. Congrats on your success🎉. Thanks for sharing your amazing build. Hope you get a new top speed at Rossa. I see you running TP motors. What series are they?
They’re 58mm cans
I rekon kevs got something around 224, and james will be the first to 230
James has a lot more mph to come… i’ll need to keep pulling aces out of my ass to keep up.
Speak up mate, can barely hear you. :)
