So this is his first midget chassis. So I guess the geometry is different than what you were racing with RMS. There must be differences and his thinking for not just copying other chassis that are out there. What team you racing with in New Zealand. Good luck

I heard Chili Bowl prep and I got excited. A friend and I been doing the same thing but for an R/C car and we are hoping to make it over to the full size Saturday. We are also driving from Oregon for Chili Bowl....Road Trip

@TmezTv I dont know how Finicky scaling a Midget is, But when i scale karts, we have a stand to ensure our scales are perfectly level.. from pad to pad..to ensure repeatablity and consistency Do they make such a thing for midgets for the same reasons.. I would at least find a pretty flat spot in the shop and mark your scal pad location to keep everything as consistent as possible.. and remember changing axle width will also change theoretical stagger and cross.. just some thoughts! love the content sorry if i went to deep!
You’re not wrong and typically it is tough with a dirt car because of the tires. And one of my favorite sayings is, it’s just a big dune buggy. It doesn’t know what’s going on in between the four tires on the ground.
this might seem like a stupid question but how much would it cost for a turn key mini like you run I think I made a deal for couple cars and they are throwing in a mini late model brand new late mini I'm just wondering.maybe I will pop up next year in Tulsa with a mini sprint.,...I do miss race,ing I ran imca for years.

you think half a turn matters when you take or add stagger? on the pavement i could see but on dirt with the car bouncing around as much as they do?
I’ve known guys to go down to a 1/4 turn on springs and torsion bars
