IN A RECENT INTERVIEW...he said "my favorite singer is C Dion". What is interesting, I think he doesn't use this song in his concerts. He just did it this one time. I mean after he did LR's "Hello" and Celine's songs....I bet singers just pray that Dimash won't cover their songs....because once he elevates them to a whole new UNEXPECTED AND UNIMAGINED LEVEL....they become his :). Most often when I hear a singer cover a great artist's classic signature song, IT IS NEVER AS GOOD as the original. BUT DQ completely REARRANGES THE COVER AND BRINGS SOMETHING COMPLETELY FRESH, NEW, UNIMAGINED AND ....I HAVE TO SAY FAR BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL.....The others are STILL WONDERFUL. I would still pay to see C Dion in concert, but I think DQ really elevates above and beyond.....:)

Not my favourite from Dimaah though he nailed it perfectly. Dimash just premiered his new single YOUR LOVE March 8th, 2020. Composed for Dimash by Maestro Igor Krutoy, lyrics by Lara Fabian. Very, very difficult piece to sing with many, many switches......don't think any other singers can sing this LIVE except Dimash.....at least not currently. I'd like to request a reaction to another singer from Kazakhstan. Daneliya Tuleshova. At 10/11 YO participated and won The Voice Kids Ukraine 4th season 2017. You will be amazed by her skills. You like Dimash so you can start with a cover of "Screaming" @ but after that, you should definitely begin with her performance at the voice. Her "Blind audition" is "Stone Cold" by Demi Lovato and the video of her performance hit 56M views. Now she's 13 and just auditioned at America's Got Talent where she got 4 yeses and a standing ovation.

I admire Dimash for his vocal abilities and his range but I gotta admit that the timbre of his high register is not my cup of tea. It doesn't sound very pleasant to me. It's kinda too feminine sounding and it's too much different from his lower register. David Phelps for example sounds much more masculine and fuller when he goes up very high and it's way better for me.

Well, David simply doesn't go high. His highest note ever is F5, but he usually doesn't go higher than C5
David neither sings in a light mix nor in head voice, he can only sing in one register and is not trained in the others
