It makes me so mad people throw stuff on stage. The girls are dancing and could get hurt. I had no problem with Su lip-syncing that one time cause 99% of shows of theirs she's live. She's probably was tried as hell. Even though Covid suck I'm glad the girls got to rest!
The sweater and laser??? Come on bro props to the girls (and Kami band) for being so professional on stage regarding such hard headed fans and stage mishaps.
Yes indeed. The sweater incident was in England, MOA wasn't upset at all and cheered the crowd few moments later like nothing happened, she's that cool! Indeed that was an amazing show judging from the fancams, the final Reistance was outstanding 😲! 🤘🦊⚡️

Everyone has their down days. As much as Su-metal is our queen, she is entirely alowed to mess up r not feel up to par for a performance. I already knew there is some lipsycing going on when she doesnt feel well. But the fact she is still performing is very admirable. I guess for alot of the fans the girls can do no wrong because we know how much they worked to get to where they are at. And they are absolutely afforded mistakes. Thank you for this video as it also shows how often they have to put up with a few stupid ass disrespectful fans.
Just shows that they're metal. I once saw the Kaiser Chiefs perform when the singer had his leg in a cast from a skying accident, while Beyonce cancelled both her shows in Belgium because she was de-hydrated (the next country went ahead as planned).
I really hate it when so called fans throw stuff on the stage. i wouldn't blame them if they ended the concert at that point and said "See You." people got to have respect.

Su was sick that day in Moscow. Some Japanese fans suspect Covid and there were rumours that she had to be hospitalised when she got back to Japan. How far accurate this is we’ll never know because of BM’s love for secrecy. Still, it might help explain Amuse’s reluctance to have concerts in 2020. They quickly did the 10th anniversary celebrations at Budokan and went on hiatus shortly after that.
Oh the reason they didn't do concerts in 2020 was because of covid, that was confirmed. But if the rumors are true and su did have covid, how would she of been allowed to perform (by the venue staff), or get on the plane?
It was only the beginning of the pandemic: no masks, no restrictions, no cases in Europe. I don't think that was the case.

Well i know they are professionals and they know the risk of getting thrown with stuff at them, but it doesn´t make it better to see them getting such rude behavior of some people.
And it´s not a crime when Su gets some help through lipsyncing. And the fact that we are getting new songs after such a short time, and especially in such strange times we live at the moment, i am very grateful that they still continue their adventure with Babymetal.

I've been a fan of them for 6 years now (yeah im old lmao) and I still can't get over how professional they are
ive only been a fan since 2019 and i watched many of their interviews and was also heartbroken knowing that Yui left because of health and maybe mental problems and i will miss her just like everyone else that loves her :(

I started rolling my eyes as I thought this video was just pointing out human mistakes, but it really shows how professional they and their crew are. Metal Galaxy was a huge tour around the globe and would have destroyed most people. I think they handled all the mishaps, drunken fans and fatigue like warriors!
I think the only issue I have bringing up the tracks is phrasing it as Su being "caught" doing something. She was caught being an amazing singer that sings live 95+% of the time doing her best while unwell to make fans happy instead of taking the night off which honestly would have been understandable. Phrasing it as her being caught lipsynching just gives ammo to the people trying to discredit what they do.

These girls are fucking slaying all the way. The fact that even when they lose balance and stuff like that, the choreo still looks so good af. Like, that says A LOT about what they're doing. They're truly out here just killing it every single time.
Especially as Moa has said before that she tends to get very sore after performances now that she's in her 20's
I wonder if someone was able to talk to that security guard. I bet he had a surprisingly good work day. Moa is such a hard worker she can't keep her accessories on.

10:28 Su-metal was sick in Moscow, you could clearly hear it in other parts. But it's great she gets caught lipsyncing, because it shows how bad she is at doing that (a good example is headbanger 15 mix Legend 1997). It means she doesn't do it often or even practices it.

They're really strong warriors, look at how fast they react and recover from mistakes, disturbances and even when they're sick. I just hope people stop being rude in their shows. :(
Thanks for this. What this proves is . BABYMETAL are Human after all; that there are assholes everywhere and that BABYMETAL, the Kamis and their crew are consummate professionals. It also showed me how incredibly upset I get seeing Su so clearly unwell.

There was one occasion when someone lost his grip on a cup, and when it landed on stage he was already yelling, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Moa made eye contact with Momoko and mouthed, "He's sorry," with a disdainful look on her face, lol!

Queen Su's professionalism is beyond question but she's only human. Fatigue from flu or fever is not to be taken lightly. As for the mishaps and mistakes, well tell me which band or group has not made them. Ever watched any of those Kpop groups? Man! The amount lip sync and mishaps they do.

I was staying up all night watching the BabyMetal concert BD when I discovered BabyMetal. Then watch BabyMetal radio, TV interview. Then watch BabyMetal variety show, reaction, fancam. Then wait for their new album.😂

What’s up with the throwing cups on stage?? Do they dislike the girls because what’s the point of going to your favorite bands concert if you’re just gonna put them in danger yet still expect a show.
I attended their show in Tilburg in 2020. I can tell you that from what I've seen, a lot of people who attended weren't really fans but "I just saw some unique band was coming to my city and the tickets were cheap, so I'm passing by to check them out". Some others were there for the opening band and left when BABYMETAL came on stage.
My only other two explanations are that people may have gotten drunk and didn't know what they were doing. There's also this comment I found which I included in this video who seems to justify themselves by saying "I didn't give it much thought".
It's wrong and dangerous in any case, but I really hope most of these episodes were done with no ulterior motives...
@@omajination I was going to assume that maybe they were playing at some festivals and so a lot of metal fans were just showing their sh*tty attitude towards the girls as always but since it was a tour I brushed that thought away.
My second thought was people actually being so immature and buying tickets to an actual show to showcase their dislike for the girls.
Also I saw the persons comment that you added in the video and you’re right it’s still dangerous no matter how they intended that situation to play out because that cup could’ve hit someone else it the head but it just so happened to land on stage with the girls.
House of Blues (Boston) The security crew was leaning against a wall messing with their phones instead of watching the crowd. And speaking as a Massachusetts resident, it's not hard to believe a few guys couldn't hold their liquor.
Maybe it says something about Babymetal performing at bigger venues (or areas they've never been because they thought they couldn't fill a venue there before), their are more non-fans/casuals at the shows ?

I really love the fails and tiny mess ups, its really cute seeing them trying to cover them up. But people throwing stuff at them really irks me. If you don't like them, don't go to their show or just leave. Some people are so f'n rude.

I saw them 3 times in 2019 and she sounded great and definitely wasn't lip syncing, I was rigut up by the stage for 2 of them. She was probably just sick or losing her voice around this time. Stuff happens and schedules have to be kept.

A video from the Moscow show (da da dance) was my entry (finally) into the world of Babymetal. I also think it was the last show they did as covid took over. Thanks for this interesting look, I myself admire them even more as well. So glad they will be back soon.

I love BABYMETAL so much. They endured too much yet their effort pays a lot of respect for them. Credits to everybody behind the scenes as well. The band, the crew, the managements, everybody. They deserve a huge respect. Salute to everybody in the BABYMETAL team. Everyone is truly a legend, including Yui and the late Fujioka-san who is no longer in the team but always with us in spirit. We miss you, Yui-chan and Fujioka-san! ❤️

I was at their Helsinki show, was awesome. I was so sad I couldn't catch the afterparty because of my train leaving. My GF at the time and I left at around 5 AM by train from our city, and arrived back at around 5 AM the next day. I met and talked to a few kind Japanese fellows who were big fans and apparently tour the world for their shows. My only complaint from the show was the delay, we stood in the cold for about 2-3 hours if I remember right. Had VIP tickets, too.
I was at the Paris show (2020.02.09) and it was my first time seeing Babymetal live, I'm so glad it was scheduled at the beginning of the tour (3rd show, with a 3 day break after Oslo and Copenhagen), the show and the crowd was awesome (no incivilities or music incident to my knowledge) and they were on fire, one of the best live show I've seen in a long time ^^ Where to other shows scheduled after Paris good ?, I mean poor Suzuka must have catched a cold in Moscow x)

I've never seen so many miscues from Riho! 🤯 It happens to all dancers, although I haven't seen MoiMoi make nearly as many mistakes like these. That said, I will always Love & Support Babymetal!

Brilliant video that deserves so much more views. You noticed really small details that i did no notice before, again, really good job, thank you. And about Su being lip synced in Moscow. It is fine, i, and majority of fans are not mad at all, its understandable. It was clear that Su was sick, when she was not lip synced she did not sound good at all, she was uncharacteristically very low in the mix too. Better this than cancel entire gig.

LOL, lipsync is still not a thing for SU, she always miss the timing. The first song in Legend 1997 is lipsync on purpose, yet she missed it a couple of times at least 😅.
Yes, most likely she got sick, but since it was their first time in Russia they didn't want to disappoint the crowd, they indeed commented on their whole European tour being problematic for the winter temperatures, as they visited the northern countries, so no wonder she got sick. And of course there was already COVID lurking around... 😒

They were really interesting when they first came out and never seen anything like it but now that they're getting older and feel like they need to change their gimmick to appeal to their old ourselves and followers I kind of feel it was almost like anime mixed with heavy metal which made it really cool but now that they're older I like to see how they reinvent themselves

About Moscow as someone who makes his living relying on voice, winters are very hard to pull through. Constant temperature changes from outside to inside can somtimes be about 40 C, so it's a constant battle against cold and running nose. And there you have three unprepared girls putting two shows in three days both in SPb and Moscow,.
Hope they'll come to Moscow again someday, I missed Babymetal show in 2020.

It's no secret that they use pre-recorded voice snippets here and there that Su lip syncs to. In the fall-down-get-up bridge in Doki Doki Morning they don't even try to hide it, and it's pretty obvious in the opening scream.
Remember, it's a group with its roots in the Japanese idol genre. They still do plenty of things that aren't usual for rock/metal bands but par for the course there.

They work so hard. Crazy u went thru all that footage. Bad ass for that. The lyp syncing, shouldnt be done. I get backing vocals for the dancing, but i feel thats why the concert sets are much quicker now, she has too be careful with her voice, wear and tear catch up. Moa always heing the best right hand, brave, and back bone of babymetal. Thr trash being thrown is ghetto and they dobt deserve it, but it is a metal type of show and dummies drink too. Really after seeing this video I'm afraid my country will also cause trouble and I hope when they travel the world they will get a very comfortable hotel to stay I can't think if they don't like babymetal but why do they come it's just troublesome for babymetal and also the management I also feel sorry for the people who always clean up trash thrown from the audience but that is also important for the safety of babymetal

Yep. I have to say those days in Moscow and Saint Petersburg was very dank and cold and I catch cold just standing in the row to the venue. I'm not really sure if they've had oppartunity to go out to the city, probably not, but before Russia they visited Helsinki and London, so no suprises. I can't blame them for the backtrack, still it was two amazing shows. I hope we will have oppartunity to see them in Russia again.
The glowsticks were in Philly. One thing to toss around within the crowd. But up on stage past the girls and the band, disrespectful. Hope to see them back in the states and Pennsylvania in the next few years.

I really do hope that the girls don't end up with negative thought about the entire of the foreign public because of these mischiefs. I know it's a complete disrespect to have sweater and cups thrown on you, but i do hope they understand that these people are a minority and that foreign public really loves them all
I wasn't offended. We saw another side of the girls we’ve never seen before. The human side. I felt kind of sorry for Suzuka though, I know what it's like to try to work when you are sick. We all do.
