here's a cute one i heard that i feel would be fitting with all the fun pink cherry blossoms builds: for drawers, you can make the handles heart shaped by putting on an item frame and putting stairs until they face a heart-shaped direction! survival friendly too because if you want to hide the item frame itself to disillusion from the fact it's stairs, you can put a sign over it and you'll pretty much only see the heart shape!

Another way to hide your lighting in your building is to use the slab or the stairs to put it in, because the like is still transferred through it, and it you won't have to see the glow stone or whatever block you're using for it, and you can also put lanterns or other blocks that emit light on shelves looks like a decoration
One problem with the fact that vertical slabs won't be properly included in vanilla. Some builds can't be properly detailed and will always feel like something is missing. (I have faced this problem myself)
