This video is great. I like the longer form content. I want to highlight something for you that maybe you didn’t think of: the sections of your hair that’s been recently cut is slightly shorter than the ends of your hair and it’s in the interior. You’re applying the ultime on mostly the exterior and ends, so you’re kind of missing those shorter pieces. They need some tlc too. If you’re going to pin curl and brush at night, you might as well apply it when you’re making your sections so that you’re not missing those shorter pieces. I hope this helps. It has helped me recently.
I am a natural girly. I’ve been getting silk press for trims, but prefer a blow out. Ever since I discovered your channel and started applying your amazing tips for maintaining a silk press, I can't believe how fantastic my hair looks! This is the FIRST time my silk press has lasted more than two days! It’s a game-changer, and I’m loving it! Thank you for your incredible advice! I had a silk press last month towards the end of November for my trim. Purchase the verb ghost oil and spray to try it 2 weeks before my appointment. & currently my hair fairly still looks good. I’ve been wrapping my hair before I put my bonnet as you advised and I’m impressed. Stylist have been telling me because my hair is not heat trained and I don’t put heat on my hair that’s why it doesn't last. This is the first time I’ve actually enjoyed my hair straight, I usually dread it because by the next morning, some parts of my roots have reverted back and puffed up. And by the third day, all I can do is put it up or in cornrows until my wash day. I don’t know why I didn’t think I would benefit from using dry shampoo. Thank you, Niara Alexis 😊
I feel like I’m always managing a hair set back lol…and i have beautiful hair, i think it’s just one of those things. 😂 When it’s curly it’s hydra fatigue and thinning from being in a curly state or styling. When it’s straight it’s styling… And for both, products, stress, diet, yo man, life etc can sometimes be the culprit. 😂😂 Appreciate ur honesty and transparency….❤
I have the same exact problems as you whether natural or relaxed. Hygral fatigue is an insane problem, but I’m determined to figure it out as I transition back to natural. Six more months until a big chop.
@@beckya640 i hate it, it keeps the hair so frizzy and dry! I dont keep my hair wet AT ALL. im under a drier, im using a blow drier...heat for ALL styling, that helped me a lot.
How about trying the redken bond pre treatment to stabilize that breakage and then trim a little more along the way also the garnier fructis hair filler , I alternate the 2
5:05 Girl would’ve just popped in a clip in and kept it moving.. Unless the breakage was really really bad and split. Okay you said it might’ve been due to demarcation from relaxing.. 😬 Yeah one of the main reasons why I don’t want to go back to relaxing. Straight hair natural 💆🏾♀️🫶🏾🌸
Vava voom! Love the style and the body waves. Gorgeous. I thought you weren't supposed to use a rinse out conditioner then use a mask. I know they do different things. Your hair is silky with a lot of body.
I don’t think so. With any line of demarcation breakage is going to happen it’s just a matter of when if you decide not to match that processing anymore. In my case I don’t want my hair to be that straight anymore so it was bound to happen
OMG, yes!!! I experienced this with Pure ology. I used to use their products (shampoo and conditioner, leave in) and as time went on my hair just continued to look more and more horrible..thinning...shedding. Once I stopped and transitioned into a different brand, my hair recovered. There is something about that Product that doesn't respond well to relaxed hair.
@alorah4831 same here. My hair just hates Pureology. I use the Ouai leave-in conditioner she recommended along with the Redken anti-snap leave-in. Both works great for my hair. I was dealing with iron deficiency and it has helped to thicken my hair back up.
Please never stop these hair vlogs!!

You’re totally my inspiration lately!! I’m excited about how my hair has been looking lately.
Love the vlog. Breakage is such a pain to deal with, but I agree with you that it's better to cut the breakage than holding on to thin ends.
I would love to see a cooking segment. I enjoy your content and it’s also very informative ❤

🤣 You read my comment! You’re right. It wasn’t a question. I was thanking you girl! Haha
It turned out so pretty! :)

Love your hair texture, thanks for sharing ❤
I’m mad at myself for watching beauty drama videos a few years ago instead of hair videos so thank goodness for these hair vlogs now ☺️
I am so glad that I found your channel, it's so therapeutic ❤
I really enjoyed your video today, probably because it was a mixture of shopping ideas, cooking etc. Thank you for sharing 🙏💖
I feel like stretching your relaxers to long is damaging your hair i say this from experience when i was relaxed
Agree, I am absolutely not a cosmetologist but do watch a lot of content from them and I think that is a thing.
Enjoyed the vlog, yes Capricorn season is approaching, so excited. Paris is on my bucket list.

I love your vlogs ❤🇿🇦
I wonder what could be causing the breakage? Could it be something you are using?
What do u use on the edges?
Kitsch Rosemary Hair & Scalp Strengthening Oil and JBCO. Both are in the description box
Thank you
I think it’s the pureology products. A few years ago many people talked about how pureology had been destroying their hair. Keikobeauty mentioned this
