Judging from your replies on the comments, you seem knowledgeable...I wanna ask, what do the letters mean in the cpu? Like 5800 then it has an X or G or some don't even have a letter after the number ...also for Intel there is K/F/KF , I'm new to learning about PC so I genuinely am ignorant to these things ,would appreciate the knowledge
Hey bud I got a 6700xt to replace my gtx 1080, what drivers should I be running on arch? Cause I haven't seen any performance boost with standard mesa.
I've tested in two, which I realize isnt a complete comparison, warframe at 2k at 120 fps which is what my gtx 1080 could do, and wreckfest at high settings the same settings I had on my other card at 2k 120 fps. Warframe I saw no improvement, but wreckfest I saw massive fps drops. I'm running endeavor arch with the latest zen kernel, the latest mesa drivers and my system is a i7 6700k overclocked. 32g ram. I'm running both games on my Samsung Evo SSD 500gig.
Excellent work as always
Thank you
This looks awesome on your machine. Good job.
Thank you
Thanks you. Nice video 👍👍👍👏
Thank you
Cinnamon DE?
Does the OS entirely run smoothly & stable with custom 6-th kernel from xanmod?
Yes, cinnamon.
Everything is nice and smooth so far, with no issues.
Nice video. Good job
Thank you

So x is the “normal”, g is with integrated gpu. Same with Intel. As I remember k is unclocked, f without the interstates gpu and kf is both.
Hi Bero thx for your work, is there a big difference in performance between nobara and a classic Fedora ? It's around 1 or 2% or 10% ?
Hi. I haven’t compared them.
@@beronori I think it would be very interesting !
Yeah, I’ll try to do it whenever I have time

Hey. mesa is your driver. How do you mean boost with the standard mesa?
@@beronori sorry to be clear, I haven't seen any performance gains with my new card on linux. I had a gtx 1080, I've installed a 6700 xt
@@markmiranpt In what game/app ? What is the specs of your machine and what resolution do you play ?

They should perform similar in dx11 games, but in dx12(vkd3d) the 6700xt should be much faster. Also consume less power
I see you’re running mint. Have you switched to it or are you still on nobara?
No I haven’t yet
Hard to believe console versions are 30 fps only...
As far as I know rt is enabled on consoles. That might one of the reasons. But in my opinion the cpu is the issue in them.
are u move from nobara?
No. Using both at the moment
@@beronori what is ur 2nd distro sir,im still distrohopping too altought i use endeavourOs already haha
Linux mint
