Zed will always be in love with Addison and he'll NEVER find someone as special as her.

I’ve watched this movie multiple times. From the first movie to this one you can just tell how much more Disney Channel improved. From the beginning to the middle to the end you can just see how much more emotion there is in the third than the first. And even though I’ve watched this movie and scene multiple times, seeing zed cry is the most heartbreaking thing ever. And seeing the happiness on his face and seeing him run back to Addison and pick her up in his arms just melts your heart and shows how much zed truly cares and loves Addison. Amazing.❤

They are not just saying change is going to happen someday, but rather they are the someday that change happens. What makes this even more powerful is the subtext of discrimination, and civil rights with the motif of love conquers, all. This really emulates, real history especially if one considers the court case Loving v. Virginia.
I've always questioned why after everyone was transported back down, why only Stacy is the only one to offer Zed any comfort by taking his hand briefly. Willa, Winter, Brie, Lacy , Bonzo, and Wyatt were all there. Yet Stacy is the only one who offered him any kind of comfort.
