Ōyō Bunkai rappresenta la sintesi dell'applicazione concreta delle tecniche e delle strategie contenute all'interno del kata, vuol essere un esempio di come l'approfondimento e lo studio del kata non abbia limiti e consenta un miglioramento e una scoperta continui.
La raccolta completa, contenete ventisette kata dello stile Shōtōkan, è parte del progetto: "L'Efficacia dell'Arte: a journey through the culture of Karate"
Ōyō Bunkai is synthesizing the application of concrete techniques and strategies embedded in the kata. It is a perfect example of how the study of the kata has no limitations and allows a never-ending improvement and discovery.
The complete collection, containing twenty-seven Shōtōkan kata, is part of the project: "L'Efficacia dell'Arte: a journey through the culture of Karate"

Derived from a lifetime of meticulous study, this book represents the ultimate encyclopedia of Shōtōkan Karate. The dedicated effort and the persistent pursuit of perfection of form, content, and attitude in traditional Karate-Dō are reflected in all components of this work. The technical brilliance in the demonstration of every Karate technique by Master Dario Marchini and the striking photographic depictions are matched by the layout of the book, the form and content of its text, calligraphy, translations, paper and print quality, format, appearance, and the quality and feel of the cover and the protective box.
Each book of the 1,000 copies of this limited edition volume is produced by hand and individually autographed and numbered by the author. A stand alone and timeless piece of art that reaches beyond the context of martial arts.
The book will be published in three volumes corresponding with the existing levels of Budō ‘Shu-Ha-Ri’.
- In the first volume are presented the 15 classic traditional Shōtōkan Kata.
- In the second volume are shown 11 Kata belonging to a more advanced level.
- In the third volume, a complement and appendix of the previous two, are presented to the reader the 3 Taikyoku, and some alternative forms and application derived from the studies carried on by the author with his Masters and during his personal research.

Thank you Sensei Marchini for sharing your Karate knowledge for the many weekends in Homburg and it's region in Germany and some other places over several years in a row teaching us all and me as child through adolescence to adulthood in yearly meetings, also for the same reasons I would like to thank Sensei Taiji Kase (R.I.P), Sensei Hiroshi Shirai, Sensei Carlo Fugazza for the knowledge they infused me with in those days. Sensei Marchini, I have seen your awesome katas and bunkai when you were a student under Hiroshi Shirai and now I gladly see you as the master you are nowadays. And thanks to you all, also thanks to my first sensei, also thanks to Sensei Martin Resch and to Sensei Gilbert Gruss (R.I.P.) too for the same reasons.
Respect to your mastery and life dedication in Karate.

Excelente execução. No Shorin Ryu, temos quase que os mesmos movimentos. Aliás, cabe uma observação: no Shorin Ryu, praticamente "tudo" aconteceu antes. Questão de cronologia.
