My parents recently dealt with a very similar situation with their next door neighbor. Law enforcement kept getting called but they are limited on what they can do. Eventually he was arrested, released on bond, violated his bond conditions, and is now serving an extended jail sentence. We'll see what happens when he's released.
Due to the poor audio quality initially I heard the psychiatrist & defense attorney's names as "Dr. Groupon" & "Mr. Doordash" and then couldn't unhear it
My next door neighbour has fairly extreme mental instability. You never know what you’ll get from her. Sometimes she yells at us. Sometimes she runs when she sees us. Once she planted tulip bulbs in my front yard without asking 🙃 It is never boring. But it sure is exhausting. I feel for these people
I think a recording with a timestamp of the banging and a video of the water being sprayed deliberately into the neighbors yard would have sealed this guys case without having to hear his weird sci-fi alternate reality delusions! Wow! I feel so bad for people that have neighbors like that!
man the judge is handling this perfect. you dont tell them you buy into their delusion, but you do approach it with the understanding that they do. if you pretend to buy into it they will see right through you and you lost them.
Noooo OMG this is exactly like my dad !! He keeps complaining ( even to the HOA) about the neighbors classic car noise, even when he’s not home! He spies out the window so often I started calling him Gladys, after that crazy neighbor on Bewitched. Sweet Jesus ! This man ! He’s my dad I love him but come on 😂 he even claims the same hearing disorder.
The way the defendant kept smirking at very specific times, in reaction to specific triggers, looks like he's high as a kite on painkillers. I truly wonder if that's what he's referring to when saying his "medicine."
The legislature needs to get to work and pass better laws to protect people from horrible neighbours. People are being tormented and many of these situations have escalated into murder. Police can only help so much without better laws.
We have medication and treatments for seizures and for headaches and dizziness but there's not much we can do about someone that believes his neighbor is causing them by pointing some giant microwave dish at his bedroom window
@@ZombiZohmI'm no psychiatrist, but these things sound like paranoid schizophrenia, or schizoaffective disorder. Hearing his neighbors private conversations, and the delusional ideas of electromagnetic radiation from a tent in their yard. There's definitely medication if that's the cause. Being lost in conspiracies is one thing that can't be treated with meds only, but having some kooky ideas about the government or moon landings doesn't usually affect one's life like these kinds of delusions. Someone I know suffers from similar things. He's usually quite rational on his meds, but once when I saw him off them, things got a bit scary, as in he thought that his roommate was plotting to kill him. I hope the defendant gets the help that he needs.
The other issue is having the defendant taking his meds properly and consistently! Whether side effects or when the patient feels good and decides that they don’t need the meds anymore, there isn’t much for anyone to make the patient to comply with taking the needed meds!
One why in the he'll would you buy a house with not a single foot from your wall to the neighbors wall that's just ridiculous being that close not to mention just problems waiting to happen...
Wasn't there a woman, think she was in Judge Simpson's court, that said she wasn't able to come into court because she was allergic or something to electronic pulses? Said she couldn't be around anything, especially places where computers and wifi were, but I can't remember what happened to her. This guy sounds a lot like her. And at one point he said he'd been in the hospital and I know that our hospital here, with the exception of specialist, has their own doctors that see patients. In the ER they don't have the hospitalists working until a patient is about to be admitted, but a specific doctor is always assigned to patients and that doctor signs everything! So he would have that guy's name had he actually been in the hospital.
THinking electronic waves are being directed at you , much like thinking someone is sneaking poison gas through your vents, is a very common sign of schitzofrenia. (probably mispelled that).
Why isn't he wearing an aluminum foil hat, as in the movie Signs. There is every bit as much EMI in the court room (think about all the florescent lights), not just in his neighbor's backyard.
Egads- he needs to plead insanity. Yes, the couple should see a mental health specialist- to hhelp them get over the trauma of having you as a neighbor.
“And I lose ocular pressure in(and?) my prosthetic limbs rest against the back of my iris” wow complete nonsense statement if you remember your eyes aren’t connected to your prosthetic limbs (does he have prosthetic limbs?)
Would both he and his wife be hearing the same noise simultaneously that starts and stops at the same time for both of them? Or is it more likely that the next door neighbor with a past history of harassment is harassing his neighbors again
That's not a health system issue, per se. It's a legal one... determining when someone is sufficiently incapacitated to be confined and compelled to take treatment.
There's no amount of medical care that's going to help someone this crazy. To actually believe there's a device small enough to hide in one's backyard that could send a narrow band of electromagnetic pulses that affect only you as a person and no other electronic devices in the home
does it seem to anyone else the judge is a little bias toward this guy also why is he not being crossed by his attorney and the state and where is the evidence he is banging on the walls just saying isn't that how it should work??

Yup he needs a evaluation ASAP.
I think we just witnessed a compentency eval in court.

Dammit.... Lol now I can't unhear it
Yeah at first we thought the name was Ripon , & then Poupon like the mustard ..
Lol now I can't unhear it
Same
😅
Saw this one yesterday. You must see it to the end. It launches to Mars. One of the best for pearl clutchers for sure.
I thought he was saying he could hear mars
I was waiting for it to get interesting and then he starts about electromagnetic pulses 🤣
I had a great uncle who believed his neighbors were shooting lasers into his chimney and it was causing his narcolepsy.
Saw this yesterday and I Couldn’t Wait for Your Reaction👏🏼
Me too!!! I was thinking that Mike would appreciate the situation like no other creator. Yay!
Your honor, I have watched to much Better Call Saul
Look at the bailiff near the door laughing!😂
In the next hearing, we'll hear from Dale Gribble, Bill Dauterive, Boomhauer, and Kahn Souphanousinphone.
I tell you what
@ This is definitely a case of “that boy ain’t right.”

A true "tinfoil hat" situation.

The neighbor was very believable. Other guy is a kook.
He's a tweaker.
Love the title! Tin Foil hat time! It harkens back to the ol “get the butterfly net” lol
He's that guy who ALWAYS has to get the last word in regardless & I do mean regardless of consequences. 🤯
I think he’s greatly suffering from small-man’s syndrome
Noooo OMG this is exactly like my dad !! He keeps complaining ( even to the HOA) about the neighbors classic car noise, even when he’s not home! Would be good if judge could order physical access to inspect neighbors property with a police standby.
Judge Stevens should have quoted " Cool Hand Luke "- - " WHAT we have here is a FAILURE to communicate "
"Come let me take you on a party ride...and I'll teach you, teach you, teach you...I'll teach you the electric slide..."
Oh goodness, do not pass go, go directly to the hospital! On a sad note, it must be terrible to live with those thoughts.
So glad the judge took this situation seriously.
The Judge is so nice he gave the ESP guy some of his Medicine. A early trip to Jail 😅
The old man is a x cia agent pointing the havana Syndrome weapon at him! 😂😂😂
The old man testifying sounds just like HANK HILL, I tell you what…
The legislature needs to get to work and pass better laws to protect people from horrible neighbours. People are being tormented and many of these situations have escalated into murder. Police can only help so much without better laws.
Watching the judge talk to him is like watching myself talk to people on r/gangstalking
I love Judge Stevens questions😂
He needs to do the Electric Slide straight to a padded room.
It just hate those sonic pulses myself.
Nothing wrong with saying y’all, Mike! 😂
Love love the Judge Stevens

Good man. Standing up for his wife's plants. 😎😅
It is sooooo much work and money lol. Good on him.
Is this Chuck McGill from “Better call Saul” (Jimmy’s brother)
This is sad! This guy is certifiable not sane. Can you imagine this guy as a neighbor?
If "bond revocation" had a face.
What a defense! I’m crazzzzy.
I hope this defendant gets help good lord thank goodness we have meds and stuff for this.
We have medication and treatments for seizures and for headaches and dizziness but there's not much we can do about someone that believes his neighbor is causing them by pointing some giant microwave dish at his bedroom window

He is so down to earth
New title: Fatigue and Malaise
One why in the he'll would you buy a house with not a single foot from your wall to the neighbors wall that's just ridiculous being that close not to mention just problems waiting to happen...
To avoid electromagnetic assault, I believe there is a prison in the middle of the Nevada desert.

@LTWM already knows!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
His craziness literally makes more sense than sov cit crazy. At least his delusions come out in sentences that make sense

The defense attorney should stop his client from testifying!
I believe he said his client insisted on testifying.
I see some major decompensation in his near future. Beaumont just doesn’t have the resources for a mental health court.
New T-shirt: “ Law talk with Mike, electrified harassment” get out of here
THinking electronic waves are being directed at you , much like thinking someone is sneaking poison gas through your vents, is a very common sign of schitzofrenia. (probably mispelled that).
Did you happen to notice they didn't swear in the neighbor?
Is this the follow-up to the hearing last week? This guy is a whack-a-doodle.
Oh delish!! 😂🤣😂🤣
“It’s him not you!”
I have a client just like him. It’s interesting the stiff they come up with.
Maybe it's just me, but I have a sneaky suspicion the neighbor has an electrical engineering degree from the college of crazy town.
We do not need a doctor, He's loony, as all can hear. (satire)
Electrified harassment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why isn't he wearing an aluminum foil hat, as in the movie Signs. There is every bit as much EMI in the court room (think about all the florescent lights), not just in his neighbor's backyard.
Egads- he needs to plead insanity. Yes, the couple should see a mental health specialist- to hhelp them get over the trauma of having you as a neighbor.
Dr Marvin, Dr Leo Marin
Or maybe psychosis brings about delusions of hearing neighbors in their bedroom. IDK. It's just a theory.
At least he is getting some jail time.
Disturbances is right !!!
Pre-Political Correctness, we would have called the defendant "a little twerp".
Did y'all say something about the South?😁
😂
I love NC 😂
Bat. Shit. Crazy.
What if the complainant and the defendant are having auditory hallucinations. That would be quite the mess.
Chicanery!
Maybe it was ELO. LOL
Needs a tinfoil hat!
“And I lose ocular pressure in(and?) my prosthetic limbs rest against the back of my iris” wow complete nonsense statement if you remember your eyes aren’t connected to your prosthetic limbs (does he have prosthetic limbs?)
Some older people hear auditory hallucinations late at night. Both my parents experienced it in their 60s and 70s. Just sayin.
Maybe true and that is not them. This guy is a serious wacko.
Would both he and his wife be hearing the same noise simultaneously that starts and stops at the same time for both of them? Or is it more likely that the next door neighbor with a past history of harassment is harassing his neighbors again
This guy is looked at one too many WebMD articles and also never learned a thing about physics
im not saying I believe the guy but I'm not sure this judge is being fair toward this defendant I would like to see some evidence however
Ah good old American health system.
That's not a health system issue, per se. It's a legal one... determining when someone is sufficiently incapacitated to be confined and compelled to take treatment.
