Love my trips to Hidden Falls. :25 min drive from the house so it has become the “go-to” place for testing new mods and for taking folks who are new to off-roading and those who want to get in some rock crawling practice
Dont see a whole lot of Mojaves out on the rocks. Pretty sweet to see it gettn it done. I got the gladi rubicon super happy with it🤙 Cool vids. Subbed :)
My Gladiator will be ready to go by this summer. Ill keep watching your videos too see when ya'll may head that way again. Maybe we could meet up! I've been to Merus and had an amazing time there, and Hidden Falls is next on my Texas "to do" list as i prep for a trip to Moab in the next year to year and a half.
Great video, awesome Jeep, and glad you enjoyed the trip to Hidden Falls. To your question at 6:32, you were on Baby Back heading East away from Hog Alley. On the trail map, you are between the "B" and the "Y" of BABY. Have been around that park a few times and just now finally getting the hang of the map!
Great video! Y’all did great on the trails you ran. Just FYI, they have air stations with heavy duty air compressors. Could have saved you from having to use your own. The game changer lift seems to be performing very well!
Thanks! Yeah I think we're spoiled on our system that inflates all four at once LOL. GC is doing really good, got a review vid coming up next week with our bowing coils fixed!
@@FarFromOrdinary I can understand that! I've found myself using my own air compressor there, just because I wanted to use my own. Lol! And look forward to your review vid!
That is some crazy articulation you're getting out of that mochine! My next level build (I haven"t finished the last one- have the hardware, just not the time to put it on- extended braided steel brake line) is going to be expensive but centered around max sway bar disconnect. You said once the maximum travel of the stock Mojave shocks once? I forget, if you could post that again... Anyhow, I think I got a way to make use of the back and front flex, but first I have to get settled in my new job. In Mojave CA! This upgrade I'm thinking of run 2100 in hardware, probably 2800 by the time I can afford to do it, and maybe more if the shocks prove not to do what I want them to. Ah JEEP -just empty every pocket, eh? Anyways- another great video! Glad you didn't get rid of the Mojave. You're now past anything the Rubicon could hope to be! Can't wait to see that nice steel bumper and winch on that thing!
yeah we're really loving the long travel in these shocks! 13" of travel compared to the 8" on the OEM Fox's. And yep J.E.E.P!! So cool that you're relocating out West!!
@@FarFromOrdinary Jeez that’s crazy. For the price of those shocks too, that’s very impressive. I can’t imagine what their 6 pack shocks do lol. Thanks for the info 👍🏾
@@motorhead_jt21 right! They do have some disadvantages, mainly running sand dunes; will have a lot more to talk about on an upcoming lift review episode.
How do your front flat tow sockets hold up, I am worried I won't be able to hook up to my Motorhome to get home sometimes. We will be heading to Death Valley Between Christmas, and New Year's need more Gladiators I don't want to be the only one. LOL Did you ever do a follow up video on the tweaks needed after installing the new lift?
That blue ox base plate has taken a lot of abuse, but it still works reliably well. There's no way you could cause enough damage to not be able to hook back up, it's pretty stout. Nice on the NY plans! We'll be down in So Cal/So Arizona in January. Follow up video is coming! Metalcloak finally released Mojave specific coil isolators, and we're set to have those put in on Monday. Soon as that's done we'll be able to make that video and close that chapter (hopefully).
Yeah, new lift. The 1.5" puck we had just wasn't cutting it, so moved to 3.5" Metalcloak + Rocksport long travel. Yeah 37's. 1.75" wheel spacers for stock wheels for now.
What size of tires are you running I just did baby back North Pole and a few other trails in a stock jt rubicon i wanna do it again but definitely think bigger tires would of helped a lot
Let's do it! You're at least the 6th or 7th Gladiator that wants to do a trip to Hidden Falls so we'll have to make that happen some time in the future!
@@FarFromOrdinary mine is at Jeep since the caliper bracket decided to jump off. If your gladiator is a 2020-2021 check your caliper bolts, they seem to back out and even fall off.
I love this park.
It's a lot of fun!
25 minutes..!!!😱 I’m so jealous..!!
Really cool 😎..!! Oh.. Nice Gladdy..!!
Thanks 👍

That's pretty awesome that it's so close for you! Yeah I'd be up there quite often.
Love it! 🙌
🤘
Good Looking Rig!!! That MC lift putting in some work!!!! Hope to see yall out there sometime!!
Thanks man! Yeah it's treated us well lately. And for sure! Hope to have some sort of group meet there in the future. Lots of interest in HF.
@@FarFromOrdinary Awesome!! Please let me know when this happens!!

good to know! cant wait to get back here
Y’all stayed next to me in Henrietta! Followed and love the content!

Dude 🤯 2:14. What lift you running? (Edit: jk, I just saw you have metalcloak control arms and other meaty parts)
Yeah the MC 3.5 but really it's the Rocksport long travel shocks that give it that flex. 13" of travel on those things! Loving it.

I'm willing to wheel with ya, too cold for me now but March -April my Off Raod Season starts. I'm in Austin, Tx.
Let's do it!! Def thinking a meetup next Spring there's quite a bit of interest in this place.
There's many names for the ledges, i call them The Devil's Staircase.
Good to know!
That level 2 looked tough! Can a Stock Mojave a few bypasses make it?
Yeah I think so! lots of places to bypass
New lift? What is it and are those 37's or 35's? I just got a gladiator and love the stance of yours
Yeah, new lift. The 1.5" puck we had just wasn't cutting it, so moved to 3.5" Metalcloak + Rocksport long travel. Yeah 37's. 1.75" wheel spacers for stock wheels for now.
How do you like the sway bar disconnects?
Absolutely love them. Zero issues on 70+ trails and nearly a year running them.
What size of tires are you running I just did baby back North Pole and a few other trails in a stock jt rubicon i wanna do it again but definitely think bigger tires would of helped a lot
Bigger tires help! We run 37s
PS. I think you should make a video of your wife and son getting to drive in an obstacle playground
Totally agree!! With the oldest just getting his permit, it's definitely time.
What lift and size tires are you running?
3.5" Metalcloak Gamechanger and 37's.
What’s the suspension set up ?
3.5" Metalcloak Gamechanger, Rocksport shocks, Adams driveshaft, chromoly rear shafts, Fusion 2.5t steering
Thanks!!
I live in Texas and drive a gladiator. Perhaps we can take a trip together.

@@ricardolopezdevictoria1109 I'll double check that thanks! We're running 37's too.
