I had operated a Wa 380 Komatsu loader loading dump trucks and a 375 Ax Komatsu bulldozer for 43 years and wish I would have had videos like these in my earlier years I am now retired from working in a phosphate mine
Thanks for the comment!
I always thought it would be awesome to see you guys cover mines equipment and here is a perfect start, would love to see some ex8000 excavator video or something around that size.
Keep up the good work
Watching from Australia 👌
Totally would love to do more of that type of equipment. Definitely will work on it. Thanks for the comment!
Bro.. trust me that was a shit into to mining loaders. He does good videos.. 👍 but that L1850 is the WORST example of large mining loaders.
Komatsu WA1200 or
Caterpillar 994 are better examples.
(For real loader operators.)
What a MONSTER! Again an awesome video. Good work.
Thanks...appreciate the comment!
this is just a Komatsu by name. everything on this machine is letourneau through and through. nobody can build a loader like this exept letourneau in texas. there is no other loaders like this.i respect Komatsu, but this ain't no Komatsu. only in name.
Komatsu is keeping the legacy going though. Without them they probably would be closed. Komatsu has a great team and run a great operation there in Longview!
@@HeavyMetalLearning no they would not have closed. they produce something no one can. giant hybrid loaders. no one but letourneau can built something like the l2350. but yes, their survival is much better with a company like Komatsu. they have something caterpillar does not have. these loaders are a necessity in huge open pit mines. and Komatsu respect the letourneau heritage. i much prefer to see them with Komatsu. i have the biography of r.g. letourneau. and the fact Komatsu model name for these loaders is p&h is cool. p&h l2350. we have these loaders in canada.
erik freedom yes. LeTourneau’s history is amazing and those are great machines!
What an amazing machine and video! Thanks so smuch for the education!
You’re welcome...thanks for the comment!
It's very amazing, this model doesn't have steering wheel, this huge wheel loader is controlled by a joystick, Bravo Komatsu
Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Thanks for the comment!
The joystick option comes with most all newer loaders now. I don’t like the joystick personally tho. Feel like I have more control with a steering wheel
I haven't run one for over twenty years and if I was to crawl on one it would be serious distress. I can say that as they get newer that they seem a lot safer. I ran a 988 and the 966 but other than that was a fiat chalmers, sorry about the spelling, that needs a ton of work and I'm 72 so don't put much on that happening. That is very impressive machine... I have worked in mines running drills and they had a loading system where it filled the dock then the dock dumped the stuff in carts on the fly so it was very quick but not very sanitary system.. impressive video
That's cool to hear....thanks for the comment!
Hi , masters am very very happy to learn this online thankful

I did call cAt company located at Mesa Az they said that you have to buy equipment for them to teach me .
Have good day
@@frankoreka2900 Sorry, not aware of any places in AZ but I'm sure you can find something if you google heavy equipment training in AZ. We do offer entry level equipment training at our MN and TX site and have lots of people that travel in so if you're interested you can check us out: www.heavymetallearning.com/
Heavy Metal Learning for sure I did also call this one too but I don’t know if they work together with Sand box extreme because if so they told me that the office it is currently close they are going to move near by Frisco TX . I am actually going to look forward to it .
But if it is something different I will check the website later tonight again thanks a lot for the information.
@@frankoreka2900 nope...that's the same place. Yes, the new location is opening in Sachse TX should be next month.

I operate a 994, would love to see you guys do something with a 994K
That would be awesome! Maybe some day we’ll get the chance!
I’d give my input if you want! Very different. I have a video of me loading some 240 ton trucks
Thanks Boss♥♥
you're welcome
super video!
Thanks for the comment!
0:16 and behind me you'll see our silver microwave.
It does kind of look like a pizza oven....good catch!
Amazing
im looking at getting 2 Cat 992 which will be working with cat 777D, 785s and 775s
Dam stairs take forever 😂🤣😆
Yup!
Awesome
Thanks!
I haven't been in anything bigger than a 988 cat loader that thing looks massive lol
If you close/crowd forward quickly with a full bucket will it drop with the weight quickly too? Or is there some sort of safety mode on these large loaders?.
I’m not sure on these larger loaders but I would imagine they are similar as the standard loaders that would drop like a brick (and scare the crap out of you...lol)
You're a good leacture indeed
yall should do one on skid steer when using different attachments
Yeah...we do have a skid steer 101 video under our LEARN playlist but it doesn’t cover attachments. We’ll see about doing another one.
Do you like skid steer?
“Im inching here slowly”
MY GUY YOU DROVE 30+ FEET “Inching Forward”
Yeah....lol
I just can't get over how small that cab is
Yeah...feels like they could put an apartment up there!
Do a Front Shovel or a Production Excavator next
YES, definitely on our list. Hoping to work with our friends at Komatsu to make that happen! Thanks for the comment!
@@HeavyMetalLearning Any news on if that’ll be happening? I’ve been working underground for a bit and I’m interested in going back to surface mining lol I’d love to run a production excavator, shovel, or blasthole drill. I spent some time in CAT Haul Trucks when I was 18-19 years old.
Please update this video with the showing of switches, instead of only taking about them. Thank You.
I think the teacher said thus is actually a LeTourneau 1850. Does Komatsu sell them?
Komatsu Mining acquired Joy Global (which Joy acquired LaTourneou many years ago)
But did you know the RG Letourneau pioneered electric motor earth moving machines ?
I recommend a book : "Move of Men and Mountains" by RG Letourneau. It's a fascinating read and you will learn about the beginnings of large mining and earth clearing equipment. He is a man who achieved a lot.
can’t help but switch off a bit when i see hard hats inside vehicles , seat belts are bull as well
Is this a Le Tourneau 2350?
No, this is the 1850 but the 2350 is made at this same factory.
still prefer levers for bucket - I'm used to them
Where can I buy one
Contact your local Komatsu dealer and prepare to write the biggest check of your life!
I’m pretty sure there are some Black Friday deals!
I’ll buy one next Black Friday
Is there a coupon
What is the salary of t
Wheel loader
varies greatly based on market
can you find out how much that will cost
A lot

Vest, safety glasses and a hard hat inside a ROPS cabin, what the hell is wrong with you?
I'm back into forward Americans 😨
Hi I am loader operator
what type is is the komostu
What type? Not sure what you mean...
@@HeavyMetalLearning oh like a komostu pc210
Broc Borre this is a Komatsu L-1850 loader (originally was the LeTourneau L-1850)
It's a simplest toy loader ever
hmmmm...simple, ehh?
Guy says just like a normal wheel loader, most Normal loaders use two leavers to curl and dump, the wa 500 for example or 988k ,
The new ones have joystick controls now. Back/forward is up down and left right is curl.

he is a big time amateur, if you ever become a mining loader with a big wheelloader, let the guy in the mine teach you. dont listen to this guy.
Take it as you see it, no need for the dig. The guy is up front at the start and states he is no expert. It is a basic overview of the machine and its operating features.
Big toy
since when does electric motor produce black smoke lol
Still got a Diesel engine in there...
