Perfect...Thanks for the video brother..Iam adding these to my KLF 20's this morning..Just found an excellent pair of speakers for only 25.00 total..I was so happy, and they play great with a 2 channel 300w emotiva amp..Anyways i just completed one, and now to do the other..And thanks for the tip on the wires, i had a piece of tape ready to keep them in place..Cheers from TN
Take the Ferrofluid out, leave it out. This was suggested by Bob Crites, and I initially failed to do it. Caught it on the second try. Acetone and folded up paper did the trick. It was a tedious process but worth it. RIP Bob. You are missed. The Ferrofluid gets stiff over the years. Finding an exact replacement is difficult, and not necessary.
I almost purchased a used set for $1100 but decided to go and build my own with Crites components and care woofers.I have yet to build the cabinets due to other projects being in the way. How do you like your KLF-30's?
This is actually my 2nd pair of KLF-30's. The ones I had before I also upgraded with the same crites components. I sold them because I thought I try the newer Klipsch RP series. What a mistake that was. I was borderline depressed of now having the 30's anymore. A few month later I got lucky and found this pair at a pawnshop and I'm happy again. The bottom line is that most likely I'll never want another pair of speakers. The KLF30's do everything I ever wanted from speakers. Endless dynamics, earth quake like bass and overall the closest I can come to a life convert. Off course others may think different but I certainly would recommend those Speakers all day long.
That is so true. I never even thought about it. I'll keep that in mind next time I take the tweeters out. Or even better, I print out your comment and glue it to the back of the cabinet, lol. And thank you for the comment :)

Did this to my 20’s a few years ago. Do one at a time and listen to the difference!

you could have just removed the horn tweeter with the cabinet upside down. Then the wires would not have fallen down.
