- Half tights are the language I speak when it comes to my choice of running bottoms. Some that I’ve tried are great, while some….not so much. Let’s talk about my highlights and lowlights when it comes to the holy half tight!

Rowing calls it trou. They also have unisuits that I've found to be really comfortable in colder weather as it keeps my core warmer.
I’ve always thought unisuits look cool regardless of the sport, but it seems like only the most elite of the elite wear them in running
You can always just cut out the inner liner if it bothers you that much for the aweroswifts. Personally, I like it because it hides my junk more, but I’ve cut out the liner in other shorts and it always works great 👍
I ended up doing that a few weeks after putting this video out! Honestly, though, I wish they didn’t cost as much they do only for the buyer to have to make an alteration to make them more comfortable.
The Wolaco Northmore Short is by far the best based on the priorities you mentioned. However overall the Northmore and the Lulu Vital are the only ones I would recommend to anyone.
With the limited pockets on the Tracksmith Reggie you used for a marathon, did you not carry any gels? If so where did you put them?

Do you wear anything under your half tights? I’ve bought some Saysky shorts and they look/feel great apart from being smushed instead of supported in the key area
With any linerless short/tight, I always wear briefs made specifically for working out or running.

The Reggie only has the back pocket and putting the phone and gels for marathon, it drops. Fabric-wise, they are great, just wish there were more pockets.
It is unfortunate that storage is pretty limited but I personally find the trade off for comfort ultimately worth it. I typically store my gels in the zipper pocket of my handheld bottle during a marathon so the lack of half tight storage isn’t the biggest issue for me.

Do you wear compression shorts underneath the unlined TS Reggie half tights?
I know some people who don’t, but I personally do.

Unfortunately, no. Pretty minimal setup but my most comfortable pair by far.
Couldn't you just cut the aeroswift liner out? Feel like I heard of someone else doing that.
I suppose, but it seems like that shouldn’t be a necessary alteration for something lauded as “elite” and retailing for $90

I notice nike will have misinformed people on tights and compression. nike pro is actually compression shorts but people were them alone or with a undergarment underneath but with the way they are now, they basically can only be used as underwear. At least the long ones are like pantyhose now. A huge downgrade. Wiz Khalifa wears his shorts to gym as a outergarment. Idk how he does it because the quality has changed so bad. I will say though that people should wesr what they want and how they want.
I love Nike shorts and tights, but agreed they have the WORST inner liner for athlete’s on Earth. I cut them out ✂️
It took me a while to convince myself to cut them out. Too expensive to be doing DIY alterations! 😂
Same. Great shorts, but the brief lining isn't elastic enough for folks with bigger thighs

Current nike pro is indeed a downgrade to those in the past. They can't be worn without a outerlayer as they stretch and look like pantyhose or sheer tights that women use under a dress. It is a no now!!!! I asked nike about this personally and they said they did change as most men wear shorts over them regardless. Womens stayed the same as a possible outerwear.... oh well....
Nike still says you can wear them as you wish but the new nike pro just aren't made to be worn without outer coverage now. Very see through regardless of sizing now. I buy Wolaco North Moore now. They are made to be worn as underwear but they can very well be a outergarment. Design is like underwear but quality allows it to be worn as you wish. They have everything.
I refuse to call them tights as its absurd.
