Accelerator is basically just as op in the anime. He can control vectors. If you have some sort of physics knowledge then you understand why this is so strong but, simply put, he can control anything which has a direction. He has a passive field that protects him from all attacks by just reversing their direction back at the attacker. He can control anything he touches so he can just touch a building and change its direction toward his target and it will start flying in that direction. Also as a side note, he does use a crutch after receiving a severe head injury. It doesn't make him any less op in the anime though so that version is just weak in the game.
also one of the best accelerator fights is in A Certain Scientific Railgun and its the first time he appears he was so popular they gave him an anime also watch A Certain Scientific Railgun first it gives alot of context to accelerator
