"The coronavirus pandemic has no parallel in modern history. It is our defining moment."
Those are the words of Klaus Schwab, head of the World Economic Forum (WEF), in COVID-19: The Great Reset, the 2020 book he co-authored with Thierry Malleret.
"Many of us are pondering when things will return to normal," they write in the book's introduction. "The short response is: never."
At the latest WEF meeting in Davos, Switzerland, this January, Schwab set the tone for the conference with his glowing introduction of the opening speaker: Xi Jinping, China's president and chairman of the Chinese Communist Party
"Major economies should see the world as one community… and should coordinate the objectives, intensity, and pace of fiscal and monetary policies," said Xi in his address to the WEF.
This vision of a united globe with a coordinated economy managed by experts captures Schwab's vision of the post-COVID world. "We have to redefine the social contract," said Schwab at a 2020 WEF book launch event for The Great Reset.
These grand proclamations, the ominous book title, and Schwab's odd personal style have led many people to speculate that the "great reset" is part of a conspiracy of global financial elites and politicians to depopulate the planet so that they can more easily institute one-world government, or even that COVID was engineered to that end.
I don't buy it. Far-reaching, global conspiracies require levels of coordination and shared purpose likely to be quickly exposed and fall apart, especially in the networked age. Instead of spinning our wheels searching for a secret agenda, take a look at the one right out in the open.
"I think we are moving from short-term to long-term, from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder capitalism," said Schwab at his 2020 book event.
What Xi, the WEF, and people like Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) have in common is that they favor so-called stakeholder capitalism, which is a euphemism for making companies answer first to special interests. They want to reorganize corporate boards to include representatives from labor, environmental, and social justice groups. Warren proposed a bill to require 40 percent of large corporate board seats be elected by workers. In China, the state simply owns or controls a majority stake in most of the country's largest firms.

In Ireland they tried to sneak a "hate speech bill" past the people without a vote. People in the UK are being arrested for saying even the slightest thing or having any opinions, or praying silently in their heads. It's complete BS. Exactly. Cancel culture is pervasive and is causing a lot of people, including top scientists, researchers, and most of society, to avoid speaking out against a lot of the BS that we're being fed because they're afraid of losing their job, being attacked online, labelled as a pariah or conspiracy theorist etc etc. Luckily there are a few brave souls who make the effort to research behind the scenes and tell the story...at their great peril. But from what I've seen it's really a small minority of people who care enough to seek out this information to begin with so the great majority of people are brainwashed into believing what our politicians and leaders want us to believe. It's really the tail wagging the dog and so frustrating to witness. It's quite alarming when you start to become aware of these things (IE become "red-pilled") because then you too risk becoming a pariah.

People look at things like the WEF and think that most or all the people attending them have some kind of highly cooperative relationship and that this cooperation isn't being significantly hampered by competition and rivalry. In reality, that is not at all how things work. Each world leader and business leader has their own set of goals and those goals are often at odds with the goals of the other people attending the Forum. They might shake hands, smile, nod, and applaud at these functions, but when it comes time for serious business things get a lot less friendly and a lot less cooperative.

Why would people not look to government when this is the very mechanism that elites (at least in the US) have used to create an environment that greatly favors them? Bribery of public officials with dark money has been legalized through sweeping US Supreme Court decisions such as Citizens United. Tax avoidance by corporations and the wealthy has been codified into law by tax loop holes created by legislation such as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 which ballooned the deficit and did little to create jobs in the US.
It starts with the public education system. Children are taught from a young age that government is to be trusted and relied upon. Yeah we bombed some people and did some dumb stuff back in the day, but you can bet that it won't happen again! Double pinky promise!

How are you feeling about the video today? Does the incentive still hold true?
I see many troubling issues we have to come to terms with in order to achieve something like the great escape.
1. We have face the fact that politicians and elite people like Schwab do not always say what they really mean, no matter what side they are on, or they convolute the message, so they can spin it later.
2. We have had centralized rule for decades. Very few big corporations and finance groups control most of the worlds big brands and business, either directly or passively through trickle down.
What good has this done us? Not much... we have perceived progress, but the total outcome of progress has been divided more and more un-evenly over the years, creating exactly the serf class and empoverished the poor even more. (no pun intended)
3. Left wing governments, including my own, are performing changes in labour laws that are spinned to be for the general good of the country, but instead creates more competition, not amongst companies but between labourers.
4. We cannot create a decentralized world until people in unison decide that "common good", although un-obtainable, is worth more in total, than the aspiration of maybe, someday, somehow, be able to sit at the grand table, if I just put in an hour or 10 more at work.
And mentally this is so far from our nature. In a whole, we are still governed by our reptile brain; "more is better." People like Schwab and friends especially included.
5. People of any country has to realise that rergardless how much those in power wants to present us with threats and enemies by pointing in a given direction, both internally and across borders, we are ALL on 1 planet. Those we should fear are not our neighbour or someone in a country far away. We should fear and scrutinize every single word uttered by those in power. Not letting them segmentalize us. Look at actions instead of words.
In 2018, WEF invited Denmark into the fold of the 4iR concept as the first EU country. Just a week or so ago, Mette Frederiksen started putting way to much focus on children and teens mental wellbeing, as caused by their use of digital platforms like SoMe etc. Thus misdirecting attention away from the harsh use of absolute power through lock downs and social distancing during the Covid scam, as the true source of the mental challenges.
But where trust could be build, by being open and staing their true intentions, Mette has not mentioned the work with 4iR AT ALL.
Instead she is attempting to rely on the youth being naive and stupid (like Kamala Harris openly called the youth of Americans) and telling them "I want to make sure you are safe and protect you from the big evil digital companies."
Not many years ago, the Danish government took the first baby steps towards the totalitarian rule, but introducing a law which they ironically called "Act on public disclosure in administration".
The irony being that government became less openly transparent and access to information much more bureaucratic.
This is a great example of how words are being distorted to create the perception of something being benign or from good intentions, but instead serves as a control meassure and a reduction of rights. And it's the exact same thing Mette is doing now with the wording used around their coming changes to laws regarding online activities.
We are being mislead, constantly and we don't see it, because we as a whole, still naively take ALL WORDS at face value instead of looking at the actions of powerholders, and responding to abuse of power.

But, ironically, they wre against the global agendas, against fascism. When the Canadian government arrested protesters, we began to see the real danger, the real tyranny.

I’m not open to renegotiating my social contract with society.
