This actually took surprisingly few attempts (4), and most of the runs that I had before this had also been stronger than I had expected. Not sure if I just got lucky or if it wasn't as hard of a challenge as I thought it would be.
The thumbnail and title were heavily inspired by Mitten Squad's videos.

About Super Auto Pets:
Super Auto Pets is a cute, animal themed auto-battler. The core of the gameplay involves trying to improve your team by buying animals with different abilities and giving them items, then at the end of each turn your team is matched against another random one and the fight plays out by itself. If you lose a fight, you lose some health, and if you win, you get a trophy. If you get 10 trophies you win the game!
I'd recommend giving it a try, it's really fun!

Not only are the challenges great but I also think youre good as a creator. I definitely think this channel has the potential to grow big if you keep doing this and maybe transition into other games as well, I would still watch. Keep it up man this is great.

@@Keenoe Pivoting is always a risky move not only in auto pets ;).
If you are still having fun i would suggest experimenting with video formats, the biggest problem for this format is that the outcome is already determined. The benefit is that it's quality content in a short amount of time.
I don't see a lot of versus content on youtube, maybe with well edited videos this could be interesting to combine with challenges or memes.
(I am not sure how a second channel for longer vods helps)

Honestly I'm not too interested in verses mode at the moment. I think it could be fun to do as a community thing eventually, but I'm probably just going to be sticking with arena for now. Also, I actually might make some additional channels, but while I'm still small I think its probably better to just keep everything in one place :)

Nicely done. Seems there are no end of challenges to be found in this game. Maybe the developers will catch on and start adding some secret achievements to unlock, besides getting all the level 3 pets.
There really is a lot you could try, I've been filling up a notepad file with possible ideas for weeks!
Also I would absolutely love it if the devs added different kinds of achievements, or maybe some hats / backgrounds that can only be unlocked by completing a specific challenge
There are many difficult to get ‘hidden achievements’ e.g lvl 3 honey bee

That ant buff at the end was pretty clutch, just barely gave you the stats to kill the hippo instead of it charging through and taking out your blowfish as well

You should do a challenge with only bugs like bees, mosquitoes, flies, crickets etc.
I actually have thought of doing this! I'm scared to try it though because I imagine that it will be incredibly hard to get a win with haha
@@Keenoe I still think that bug challenge wud be easier with the dlc pack #1 if ya ever want to and are able to get that pack.
Tho it can also be made easier if we change the challenge just slightly to include any crustaceans; which are effectively just water based bugs (legit, arthropods, arachnids, and crustaceans all have carapaces, but plenty more in common too)
Or call it the creepy crawly team and you can include other things that are kinda like bugs but arent rly bugs; or even throw rats and bats in.
@@SylviaRustyFae My plan was to include things like the worm and snail actually! I felt like they fit the theme well and would give it a better chance.
I still need to buy the other pack though, its on my to-do list haha

I'm not usually into SAP content from content creators I haven't seen before but after randomly stumbling on to your videos has been great.

I followed a similar strategy to this after watching, got super lucky and won on my first attempt! (Ant, Swan, Kangaroo, Bison, Monkey)

The bee had surprisingly big amount of value, quite some kills even in mid-game!

The last little swan clip reminded me of a meme run I did where I got a level 2 and a level 3 swan. I was so close to two level 3s before it ended

This is a good challenge. Reminds me of the no roll, but you can roll as much as you want just not after you have a full party. You really just want to load up on one good unit from each tier, aka ant/mosquito, possibly badger to carry midgame, swan is just always good, then bison can carry the game for the rest of it and possibly one buffing unit from the higher tiers. Basically your team but with badger instead of puffer would be my own team.
I just got into super auto pets and i found this channel and its already helping me out so much.

Amazing content! A cool challenge could be HAVING to sell a pet each turn! And if that is too easy, maybe either having to sell at the start of the turn, or sell 2 each turn.
I actually am planning to try something like this, I was thinking of doing a run in which I have to sell a random animal every win / turn!
@@Keenoe Yeah! It'd be like the Underworld Customs modifier in Hades, where you have to give up 1 ability at the end of each level.

Challenge ideas mammals only (whale is mammals) then fish/ aquatics only snails and octopus would be in aquatic
I think mammals only would be quite easy, although I had been planning to try a "swimmers" one, but aquatics is definitely a better word for it, thanks for the suggestions!

Me too, I've been trying out some of the others for variety but the pirate hats are still my favourite!
So I did this challenge and yeah Ive finished it at the second, 10 trophies, 4 hearts left, with a penguin, Bison, rooster, otter and the giga buff chad ant-sama and have to say it was hilarious how my ant and otter carried me early game being able to both lvl 3 them kek
That's a really strong lineup! I think ant + otter might be the best tier 1s, and penguin + bison is insane for scaling if you get them early

I was about to win first try but i encountered a perfect counter i had a worm turtle swane fish squirrel a pretty good team and good for scaling i think but i literally only found one swane to upgrade the first one but i managed to upgrade the fish to max level

Ah btw in case you are open for input, Maybe you could also just say "this is my best attempt for this challenge" and then it's not clear yet if you managed win or fail yet keeping a bit more excitement through the video, and then saing at the end it took you X attempts.

Can you try a super auto pet nuzlocke
If one of your pets dies they will be deleted
Rules: when a pet dies you can upgrade it to the last species of that pet that lived
Also if a pet has honey or mushroom before it died it wont be deleted
I'm not sure that I understand that first rule, could be an interesting challenge though!
