Early, Early Morning in the Studio

I had some “blank” pottery nativities that I’d made from a very different terracotta clay in Tucson. Brought them back on the plane as bone ware. Lots of sheep didn’t make it but amazing what did. Pottery is super porous & kind of fun.
Mai wanted to paint a set for her Grandma Joy in Dallas, OR.
