I've been watching those same guys...Eric, George & the Beard Barron! I initially wanted to grow about a 6 month beard but now I'm lengthened it to about 8 months I think. I don't know. I'm going on 5 months now. So, we'll see. I may go all the way to the yeard before it's all over. Blessings!
I guess that's the thing with beards. You never know how yours will grow until it arrives. Good to hear you are keeping your options open. I have to keep going until Christmas at least to fulfill my Santa commitments :o)
Yeah, the Santa thing sounds cool! I'm 44 but I have a lot more grey than most guys my age. However, I don't mind. Actually, that's what made me want to grow my beard out longer because I like the grey look better than the black. But, if I keep growing maybe I could play Santa here in Japan. That's another option. Thanks!
Thanks. I enjoyed the journey, but in the end realised that a very long beard didn't suit who I am. I miss standing out in a crowd, and the feel of the wind in my beard. But as far as looks go, I like a smart look, and I couldn't achieve that with the long beard.
All people around disappoint me everyday my beard keep growing bigger and thicker. it became a part of my identity . I Don't know what to do? I love to see my beard growing every day and have no intention to shave it off under any circumstances.
I have found no easy answer. If there are people you care about who hate your beard, then you have to decide how to handle that. In my case, my wife disliked my very long beard intensely. After 1 year, I had my beard trimmed into a much shorter, very smart style, but am still growing the moustache. I had the pleasure of seeing what my beard would look like very long, but came back to a style I still liked (what I call the "King George V" style). If you never wish your beard to be shorter, then I agree, you have a problem. Most people who comment here would say that you need to be yourself, and they have a point. But it is difficult to be happy when your family are unhappy. In my case I found a compromise.

Bit late to the party, but starting at the beginning & very entertaining so far 😁😎😉👍🏻
Thanks Phil. I am just speaking to Warner Bros regarding a Hollywood version. I think George Clooney might be up to the job 😉
