CR&R Volvo Amrep Octo ASL doing 35 gal Carts

So here we've got one of CR&R's older trucks at the time, from the Ortega yard (San Juan Capistrano) collecting mostly 35 gallon carts in Aliso Viejo. Filmed the same day as that other video I posted almost 2 years ago. I'm unsure of these trucks' whereabouts as of present day; if someone knows please feel free to share in the comments. The Ortega yard was a gold mine for older equipment, whether diesel or CNG.
As you can tell by the huge number of original carts, the complex was rolled out with 35 gals standard when the city went automated in the Solag Disposal days. Pretty cool considering that haulers nowadays issue 95 gal or similar to newly built communities like this for whatever reason. Now I'm curious as to how this place looks today with a third cart added for organics.

Did not know CR&R still uses Volvo’s, I love how when he picks up the mini Roto it’s so interesting!

Awesome video, I actually recognize the driver PRSI since he picks up at my grandparents house. He now drives a newer LNG acx amrep N3 but he really knew how to run these octos well. So glad someone was able to film him in one but unfortunately the camera doesn’t do justice to how great this truck sounded in person. Excellent work!

Amreps are just cool all around. The 35 gal Roto is one of my most fave carts of all time; they make me like the 65 Rehrig EG more now given their close resemblance.
