are you able to wire to just the battery and not use ignition wire or have a switch, just be able to power unit on by turning it on and off , and not draw power when unit is off .

what if I don't want the extra wires (rca aux etc) hanging out the side? can i route them internally into the netted portion where i might keep an ipod?
the Aux connections are only a few inches long. They do not hang down in the view of the driver and can be simply wire tied to the A-pillar of the roll cage. If you would like to use the Aux to hardwire an iPod or other mp3 device, you would run a male to male 3.5mm cable from the female 3.5mm Aux connector to the iPod or mp3 device in the storage net.

Hugo Herrera Yes. That's what the Aux output is for. Aux output to the additional amplifier so the signal from the built-in source unit is sent to the additional amp.
Man I’ve added 2 separate amplifiers to this same sound at and it won’t push the subwoofers. Tried multiple speakers. From expensive to cheap. Tried a 300 watt amp and a 2500 watt amp. Sound at is good but no good for an amplifier.
Does it fit a Can am Defender, and if it does which model?

The MUDSYS series of overheads are designed to not interfere with most roofs both OEM and aftermarket. The bar sits flush with the top of the roll cage so as long as the roof does not protrude downward below that point, it should be fine.
MTX Audio USA-is it louder than the wet sounds ultra 10? Im trying to decide between this and the wet sounds. also can I mount it to my 2014 ranger xp 900?

+Stabitcrew Yes. Our MUDSYS46 will fit on a 2014 Ranger XP 900. I haven't personally heard the Ultra 10 but it looks like our system should have more low end considering the Ultra 10 only has 3" speakers. Plus, our system has a built in EQ so you could tweek the sound to how you like it. Hope this info helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.
I installed this unit in a ranger and it does not turn on automatically with the key. You have to hit the power button each time. Is this correct?

really wanting to buy one of these, but i have a Polaris ranger xp 900. i noticed a comment below stating it doesn't fit that model. please correct me if i'm wrong.

Will it fit a ranger xp1000 2017 with roof?
Aftermarket roofs vary in regard to how much space is between the top roll cage bar and the roof but the part of the bracket that fits in between is only about 1/8".
I have a trailmaster 300cc UTV would this fit??
What is the distance between the roll cage bars of the "roof" of your roll cage?

+jesse fabre Not familiar with the 2016 Yamaha Viking yet but these are universal sound bars. There are two models to accommodate different widths between the side bars of the roll cage. If you measure the distance between the roll cage bars, it will tell you which model would be correct for your machine. And as long as your roll cage isn't made of tubing that is of an unusually larger or smaller size, everything should fit fine. I'd buy one but mtx doesn't make it to fit the rzr... Only the most popular utv of all time! Way to drop the ball mtx!! 👎

MTX Audio USA does that also fit the 900s/1000s?? Only says xp900 & xp1000
@lauderdalechad it does fit the 900, 900s, 1000, XP1000, and XP Turbo. It just won't fit the XP900 because it uses the old style cage like the 800 with the narrower design. We are in the process of updating the website page.

Don’t buy this if you want an amplifier to hook up to it. This thing isn’t built for it. Tried multiple amps and multi speakers. No good
