This program today blessed me more than almost any other Sid has ever done. Music has been the language of my spirit since I was a small child. As a very strict Mennonite, we were not allowed radios, TV, or any instruments of music. But God was able anyhow to do in me what He wanted, and has brought me out to be a spontaneous worshiper in music. I have been called into music ministry, and my spirit connects so deeply with what this guest has experienced! God has opened heaven to my spirit, as I worship Him! There is no place so sweet!

When he was a child he would see angels but then evil spirits would come and I would ask God to send my son's angel to guard him. Then one night as I was putting my son to sleep a red glow shone over us and my son saw the angel come into his room and stand in front of the closet door. Praise God!!!

We once heard music playing in our ears, me, my sister and her husband when we were praying. That evening we went to church my hands lifted themselves and started acting like they were playing a keyboard. making music is indeed PHD it's actually placing our spirit in heaven when we delight in worship we visit heaven if we see heaven or not we still feel it it feeds us from being depressed our turmoil will be washed away i have these revelations myself when i'm behind my piano everytime i get up from the piano bliss is what remains in my room and i get this intuition (intuition is spiritual) to play more but when the annointing fades i must understand that everytime i play the angels are getting exited whether i see them or not

I really appreciate Steve Swanson! I've been able to worship in a room where he is leading worship several times now, and one of my most heavenly worship experiences to date occurred when he was leading worship. There were thousands of people worshiping at the time, so I'm not 100% sure that I heard heavenly music, but there definitely seemed to be a "something extra" to the sound that I was hearing in the room. I do wish that we could hear the full versions of the three songs that he started to play during this show, though. Is there any chance that you could do something similar to what you did with Phil Driscoll recently, where you include an extra segment from your session with Steve? It would be wonderful to hear those songs in their entirety, as they were all very worshipful.

i know in music with praise and prayer, combined your prayers go up as musical notes. ...its how prayers go up to G_d. I witnessed it. ..,and had an answer to a prayer. i know G_d hears my prayers. but when soneone touched me one tine, it stopped! i was seeing mudical notes going upward then when but when someone touched me they stopped. Never touch anyone when they are praying because you could be stopping their prayer!

The Lord loves all types of music..(including electric guitar, etc). as long as we sing or perform it not to get caught up in the music itself, but to allow it to guide us directly to our Lord. For this, we need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit . Otherwise it isn't anointed and is just a nice performance. I'm reminded of king David dancing with joy in the street procession as they were bringing the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem. His wife was cynical toward him, but yet he was putting a smile on God's face with his child-like joy :-)
Believe God sent his son Jesus to die for your sins and ask Jesus into your heart and forgive for your sins and have faith in him. . . . . that's how to be saved by grace amen

Fact is, the music you approve of, was at one time disapproved of by strict traditional Christians. Even the old hymns written in the 1500's, were at one time the kind of music sung only in the bars. Music is so much more than style. Music is a language. Music communicates emotion and purpose and eternal truth. Satan was the music worship leader of heaven at one time. He knows its power. That's why he tries to either make people enslaved to music that communicates darkness, anger, and tradition... or else he tries to make people afraid of the kind of music that could bring them into God's presence, setting them free from traditional chains.
It is more blessed to CHANT in song to God for HIS ears and not ours when worshiping! Outside of worship I can appreciate many styles of music but during worship it must be scriptural or liturgical and sung in chant style because you are pleasing to God and worshiping HIM. Chanting is in Psalms. So fuss with King David and not me.
