During editing, yes I realized that I had forgotten that I went for an Electroweb so the Ogerpon being faster than Caly made sense and I should've played more aggressively with Urshifu because it was faster in Game 1.
Pokemon is one of those games where, just when u think you got a good thing going… You get slapped in the face 😂 Currently 26-24 on ladder and cant break into Masterball. Lol
252+ SpA Choice Specs Beads of Ruin Tera Fire Chi-Yu Helping Hand Overheat vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Vessel of Ruin Ho-Oh in Sun: 196-231 (92 - 108.4%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
@archanasoni9666 my zamazenta core loves Dark bear too much. Raging bolt is also a really really good partner for Ho-oh so Tornshifu doesn't even seem that reliable into the match up.
@scottcrysel my best performing team is Crowned Zamazenta, sash Urshifu-SS, sitrus Sinistcha, Booster fluttermane, AV raging bolt, and the 6th slot has changed a lot. Recently I've been appreciating an encore Ogerpon Cornerstone for the accurate rock move and support moveset. It's really nice for Calyrex-Ice rider and definitely makes Ho-oh playable for me
It is a bulky defensive team, but definitely not stall. Fast high-damage teams are currently the meta, alongside trick room which is effectively slow/fast bulky offense, so this team is basically an anti-meta answer to the dominant stuff in the format. It's technically more effective at dealing with the popular teams, but much more difficult to pilot because a misplay could cost you the game, whereas a perish trap team or screens-focused team would be much closer to stall, although perish-song is even more difficult to pilot.
@@jellybunz8357I mean is definitely not that common as a style, but can definitely be viable, with stuff like Cosmic Power Eternatus, Unaware Dondozo, Ting Lu, Wo Chien, we have options, I already see some cool stuff out there

I just was messing with a ho-oh team I made with grimmsnarl screens, it’s crazy how many hits it can take! Love seeing gen 2 mons thrive
I LOVE seeing Ho-Oh and Lugia shining in this format
I've been playing a ton of Ho-Oh, glad to see this video! I have had a lot of success pairing it with Garganacl and slowly wearing down opponents.
love your consistency mate!

Been tinkering with a Ting-Lu on a team. The team isnt conplete yet... but I think there is something there.
I’m running something similar except I have Urshifu-R + Screens Sableye + Substitute Ho-Oh
I've been playing with Ho-Oh, and I've been enjoying them!
I love bulk core teams. Ting-Lu supremacy

As a zamazenta player I stay up at night thinking about how to counter Ho-oh.
My best answer is that I don't have an answer.
Water bear and torn?

What's your team look like? Pelipper is a good Zama partner and good against Ho-oh. Raging Bolt also good against Ho-oh

I felt like this is a stall team which I'm not really a fan, but at least it utilizes ho oh

Stall is not viable in VGC, it is a defensive team though.

STOP, THE THUMBNAIL 💀 Bodacious Ting Lu, thicc two c's
Game 2, Why not sucker punch torcole for chip and to reduce eruption power, instead of just sacrificing urshifu without it doing anything?
Psychic Terrain blocks priority
Awesome team, why dark Urshifu instead of water though?
jhoto represent bebe
nice
GLOOM or I give the people your address!!! (I don’t have your address)
(But I have yours)
Sans threats, I also want to see the glewgong team on ladder 👀
