You are my hero! I loosened the screw too much and the nozzle shot out. Luckily, I found it and because of your video, I learned how to install it. Thank you!

You were helpful to me so I will return the favor. The sprinkler head can also be held in place with a metal band clamp tightened with an electric screwdriver fixed with a appropriately sized socket for speed. Some of us dont have access to a dealer who sells all the accessories. Thanks, Glenn

Hot tip: if your rotors have an ON/OFF valve. Switch the rotor valve to the OFF position, loosen screw clear of nozzle, and turn the valve back ON momentarily -- the nozzle usually pops/flies out 1-3 feet due to the water pressure, then immediately turn the valve back off. Install new nozzle, tighten screw, and then turn rotor valve back to the ON position. You can avoid damaging nozzles this way since no pliers are required.

Pre-installation I just hold the sprinkler head in place with my hand. If the sprinkler is already installed I use a pair of locking pliers with a cloth to protect the shaft.

Protip- Use the "L" portion of a small allen wrench to remove the nozzle it will avoid deforming the plastic with pliers or screwdriver.

Who can tell me where to get the different port size nozzles, what the advantages of changing them are, and if there are low water pressure issues, can a best size port give a more thorough coverage. Just showing how to change it doesn’t teach me what I need to accomplish, which is better coverage with lower pressure or low gph flow.

Can I just change out the nozzle part to existing sprinkler heads. There's most rainbird out there now. Or do I have to change out all the heads? Thanks

Okay, Dwayne, solve a mystery. What are the two nubs on the one finger ring used for on the Hunter sprinkler tool? The one ring is just round; the other has two square nubs spaced about 1/2 inch apart. They must have a purpose. Driving me crazy.

Hello, I can completely understand. Per Hunter, the ring that has two squares is simply to grip. The HUNTER ADJUSTMENT WRENCH consists of a 3/32 Allen key, two convenient finger loops for gripping, and an opposite side arc adjustment key for all your Hunter rotor adjustments, including the radius.
