I watch a lot of different videos on UA-cam. And most of them I fast forward. Your videos are interesting all the way through. Not boring at all. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures. It’s almost like I am traveling with you guys.
You should’ve checked out the bottle works district the old Coca-Cola plant was turned into a hotel and there’s a super cool, food court down there with all local places
After the Kentucky Derby in Louisville and on our way to Milwaukee for Mother's Day, we stopped at Fish Hut Pizza in Petersburg. What a weird name. I think we tipped the crew $20 on a $20 pizza. It was that good!
For sure. Went there many times when we lived in Plainfield. Thought my oldest son to ski in Nashville at Ski World, shame it's all gone now. Turkey Run along with Parke County and the covered bridges is a nice escape but would pass on the festival. Too many people and now they have some crazy political vendors that spoil the event
Now you're headed to my neck of the woods. Ontario people go to Sandusky a lot because its just across the lake (though we drive) ...it is our Disney...lol. enjoy the roller coasters!
I love watching your videos. they are so interesting and not boring. So, I just scroll through they are most of the time the same thing. ship after ship and all.
Another wonderful place and a huge cabbageroll jason. At least you had some good spots. Well back in the hospital again and worse this time with dogs tonge swollan again . Cheers.
I'm a lifetime Hoosier and you hit some of our best places to eat. BTW Shapiro's sells that bread by the loaf, and I have bought many in my lifetime. The baked sweets are delicious as well. I had to laugh though when you rolled down the hill in the infield. You have no idea how many people have done that roll on race day while enjoying the views from the infield. Only difference is you got up on your own. LOL
I'm from Detroit and White Castle was my favorite eating place back in the 70's. From Detroit we carried the burgers with us going to Cedar Point. Those were the days. Enjoy.
awww I'm sorry your plans flopped for your visit. I hope you come back and give Indy another try! next time.... be sure to check out the world's largest Children's Museum!
Please come back to Indy!!! There is soooo much to see and do. And, you have to go to St. Elmo’s for the shrimp cocktail - it’s fresher and so much better than the stuff in the jar ( which is still delicious!!)
What an awesome adventure! I can't wait for Ohio... looks like you may have gone to Kennywood...I went there in the 80s and rode the laser loop. The memories, wow
My mom, when I was a kid many, many years ago made homemade cabbage rolls that one looked absolutely delicious.and that pastrami sandwich. Wow I can only imagine. That's my favorite sandwich
Hey guys!! Thanks for the advice on the St. Elmo's cocktail sauce I tried it ordered from Amazon for one bottle and tried it and fell in love with it and you're right it is the best seafood cocktail I ever tried it on, super Thanks for your advice guys!!
Agree 1,000% on your verdict of the Shapiro’s sandwiches. We live in central Indiana and visit Shapiros about once a quarter to once a month on average. We visited the big apple in 2010 and went to 2 different places to try the “New York Reuben” and they were 3x the price of Shapiros and not even half as good. Yet another reason why life in Indy beats life in the big (rat and crime infested) apple
You were in my backyard!! I am so sorry it didn't work for you. I Love St. Elmo's and Shapiro's. I can do without White Castle. Glad you got to hang out with your friends, though!!
Too bad Indy struck out on you guys..Cedar Pointe is cool. The Roller coaster capital of the world! I wanna see updates on the 'new' Top Thrill Dragster! :) Have fun! Hope you like roller coasters! If not, the water park is pretty killer too!
If I knew y'all were in town we could have hung out some. Btw, if ya like Mexican, ya have to try the Tamale Place. It was on Diners Drive-Ins and dives.
St. Elmos.. OMG.. the dry aged steak to die for.. a true 5 stsr restaurant.. should also try Ruth Chris restaurant too.. used to be same owner .. not sure anymore.. but the Food is AMAZING
Please tell me you’re going to the Rock and roll hall of fame in Ohio!! Do not miss it!! Too bad about Indianapolis. At least you got a great sandwich!!
If you like the White Castles, then you should come to Salina, KS and eat at The Cozy Inn. It's been around for over 100 years and have the best slider burgers. Love your videos and thanks for sharing your travels!
I really enjoy watching your videos. Hopefully we'll be traveling more when hubs retires in a few months. I've got him watching to see the places he likes. Thank you!!!
I love Cedar Point! Bighest roller coasters! Do you have your Michigan sticker yet? Go see Ludington, Mi. The State park is wonderful and you will get some great use of your bikes.
I hate y’all had a sorry time!! We moved to Indianapolis in 2002 from NW. MS just outside of Memphis, TN. Tip for your next Indy trip, The City Market only hops during the week when businesses are open. It’s not a destination. NOW, the place to go is The Bottleworks. There’s a beautiful hotel, basically the most awesome movie theater and food court ever! There are so many things to do in surrounding areas. Honestly, Fall is the BEST in Indiana. Before moving here I’d only experienced various degrees of Misty HOT, Sweating HOTTER , Dehydrating Sweat HOTTEST, Wet HELL then a few weeks of fake winter.
YAY Cedar Point Sandusky Ohio my old stomping grounds. Born and raised near Cleveland that was the place to go every summer. After marriage we moved about 40 min from the Point so we went all the time and even sailed our boat and stayed at the marina but left Ohio 15 yrs. You also need to check out the Lake Erie Islands by ferry or jet express boat for a fun party time. Love pigs in the blanket (stuffed cabbage) and stuffed peppers grew up eating that YUMMO
finally made it to Sandusky Ohio.....one time my cousin sent me a postcard of Sandusky , I thought what is it that , I never knew anything about that region , where it has all the theme park . I didn't know it existed . Two years ago , we were up in that region, I was surprised , riding on a highway and the first thing surprised me was the Lake and Sandusky . i figure if I'm in that area, I'm going to Michigan to visit the Biggest christmas store . That's one thing I love is to travel and just check out the sights in each region. United States has a lot to offer and to visit .
I'm from southern Indiana and go to Indianapolis regularly to take my son to the children's hospital there. We've never been to Shapiro's so that will be on our list! Bummer that most things didn't work out for you guys! Hope you come back!
The only place I’ve ever had White Castle was on Gunhill Rd in the Bronx. We call them murder-burgers; you can eat a million of them, but you’ll still be tasting them for days later.
Escaped Indiana almost 30 years ago moved out west. Been to Indy Race track several times. The museum used to be free is very historic and interesting but not worth $15. Good call.
Thanks for keeping me thoroughly entertained while I’m sheltering in place here in Southern California waiting for Tropical Storm Hilary to move through. You guys are always eating the yummiest food! 🤤
lesson number one do your research to make sure what you want to do is available when you want to do it! this history of the track is all at the museum, even if you're not "into" racing. There's much more to Indiana than Indianapolis.
I have to agree with you on that . I have been to Indianapolis to museum and other cities. There's a lot in Indiana , to check out. all depends on your interest. Indiana and Michigan two States we visit yearly. We are close to many States. only take between 3 - 12 hour drive.
Every time I watch I can’t help but think , man these are my people! If it can go wrong it will go wrong 100% of the time lol especially if you have a list ❤
Sorry your time in Indy was a let down. Our city market is not a good one. The IMS museum is really good, even if you are not a race fan. Also, our museums downtown are very good…Eitlejorg, state museum, and children’s museum. We also have more war memorials than any other city except Washington DC.
If you want a good farmers market in Indiana, you should come up to Fort Wayne on a Saturday to Barr Street, probably 100 vendors and twenty some food trucks.
I'm on Ozempic. I've been on it for 18 months, and I eat next to nothing. OMG, what you guys just ate, I'm bloated just watching you. I use to be able to eat just like that.
Glad you didn't ask for mayo on your pastrami. That is a real NO NO in a Jewish Deli. That stuffed cabbage looked Soooo good. You need to get some kasha Varnikas and a knish and some lakes.
Indy is great...so many amazing places to eat, but Ohio is better 😁 I'm biased because I live in Ohio! I hope you are enjoying Midwest hospitality, and I'm confident you'll enjoy The Point 😉
Oh man, race enthusiast or not, you really cheated yourself by not going into the museum. City Market is lame. Next time I recommend doing more research. I live here and I can tell, there is so much you missed.
I watch a lot of different videos on UA-cam. And most of them I fast forward. Your videos are interesting all the way through. Not boring at all. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures. It’s almost like I am traveling with you guys.
I agree, they are so down to earth, and you can just relate to them. Thanks guys!
I agree. ❤️
I feel the exact same way. Their videos are not boring
You should’ve checked out the bottle works district the old Coca-Cola plant was turned into a hotel and there’s a super cool, food court down there with all local places
Places in Indiana you need to check out sometime: Nashville, IN, French Lick, IN, Santa Clause, IN/Holiday World, New Harmony, IN
as much as I went to indiana , i could of visit Santa Clause, Indiana .
You need to have the fresh cocktail sauce from St Elmo's!! They use fresh grated horseradish, boy that clears your sinuses but its the best!!!
Sorry you had a bad time in Indy. There is definitely more to Indiana. Hope someday you can see other areas of the state.
After the Kentucky Derby in Louisville and on our way to Milwaukee for Mother's Day, we stopped at Fish Hut Pizza in Petersburg.
What a weird name. I think we tipped the crew $20 on a $20 pizza. It was that good!
Brown county state park & Turkey Run state parks are where you needed to go! Next time check it out and thank me later.
Aother amazing video. I liked the Indianapolis Motor Speedway section! Thank you for the Ins & Outs of the speedway.
Was born and raised about 30 minutes from Indy.
I cannot wait to go to Dollywood. Thanks for those videos and they were fantastic!
I love watching your videos. they are so interesting and not boring. So, I just scroll through they are most of the time the same thing. ship after ship and all.
My parents are from Indianapolis and still have a lot of family there. Been there many times and have always loved it there.
Wow I love that monument. I am surprised they haven’t tried to tear it down yet. Good video.
Another wonderful place and a huge cabbageroll jason. At least you had some good spots. Well back in the hospital again and worse this time with dogs tonge swollan again . Cheers.
The stuffed cabbage is my favorite there and the Latka.
I'm a lifetime Hoosier and you hit some of our best places to eat. BTW Shapiro's sells that bread by the loaf, and I have bought many in my lifetime. The baked sweets are delicious as well. That’s very new, haven’t seen it yet! So thanks!
All looks delicious except I can’t eat cooked spinach!
What an awesome adventure! I can't wait for Ohio... looks like you may have gone to Kennywood...I went there in the 80s and rode the laser loop. The memories, wow
Never cheese on a White Castle! And always mustard, they have great brown mustard
That food looks amazing and Indianapolis is only 2 and a half hours from my hometown. I'm going to have to visit once we move back. 😁😁
My mom, when I was a kid many, many years ago made homemade cabbage rolls that one looked absolutely delicious.and that pastrami sandwich. Wow I can only imagine. That's my favorite sandwich
We have Krystal here in Georgia which is the same as White Castle. I love those little burgers 😊
They have one of those in Detroit ... Exactly like that, the Soliders momument .
4th generation Indy resident. You need to attend the Indy 500 just once before you write it off. It is something special.
We will have to try it one day.
That sandwich looked incredible!😋 Sorry the rest of the day was a bummer😏
Hey guys!! Thanks for the advice on the St. Elmo's cocktail sauce I tried it ordered from Amazon for one bottle and tried it and fell in love with it and you're right it is the best seafood cocktail I ever tried it on, super Thanks for your advice guys!!
After cedar point you should head to Michigan…your the Great Lakes , good fishing….Mackinac Island, Michigan has awesome vineyards too!!!
Agree 1,000% on your verdict of the Shapiro’s sandwiches. We live in central Indiana and visit Shapiros about once a quarter to once a month on average. Probably too late, but Tony Packo’s in Toledo would be a good stop on way to Cedar Point. That is the place Klinger always talked about on MASH.
White Castle while camping? Damn, you're brave. Rooting tooting good time! 😆
What is corn hole? Is this a US of A kinda thing?
If I knew y'all were in town we could have hung out some. Btw, if ya like Mexican, ya have to try the Tamale Place. It was on Diners Drive-Ins and dives.
I went to the Indianapolis 500 and it was amazing it was a bucket list item for me. There was over 500, 000 people there it was awesome.
No you put sweet coleslaw with Russian dressing on top of the pastrami.
Thank you for sharing this with me. Jason and Alicia.
St. Elmos.. OMG.. the dry aged steak to die for.. a true 5 stsr restaurant.. should also try Ruth Chris restaurant too.. used to be same owner .. not sure anymore.. but the Food is AMAZING
Indy sounds like it was a proper epic fail…
Shapiro's Reuben's are the best! Ice skated around the circle back in the day. From Bloomington go there often.
Love watching your videos guys keep the good work😊going
Please tell me you’re going to the Rock and roll hall of fame in Ohio!! Do not miss it!! Too bad about Indianapolis. At least you got a great sandwich!!
If you like the White Castles, then you should come to Salina, KS and eat at The Cozy Inn. It's been around for over 100 years and have the best slider burgers. Love your videos and thanks for sharing your travels!
City market is in midst of closing. Use Google when traveling
I live close to Indy! Sorry u had bad time
our family make stuffed cabbage rolls all the time , all homemade
Should have gone to bottleworks. The war museum would have been good. The canal would have been good. I could go on but...... Mass Ave is always good.
I really enjoy watching your videos. Hopefully we'll be traveling more when hubs retires in a few months. I've got him watching to see the places he likes. Thank you!!!
Christmas it’s absolutely gorgeous
There’s a town just south of Indy that has the biggest pork tenderloin sandwich ever
I was just at ims for nascar brickyard 200
Give me a heads up and I can show u around next time
My hometown.
What state do you live in now? My parents are from Indy, but we live in Tennessee now.
Indy
Come back in oct. And shee the covered bridges. In Parke county. I am not i to racing either but that is cool to see that.
I love Cedar Point! Bighest roller coasters! Do you have your Michigan sticker yet? Go see Ludington, Mi. The State park is wonderful and you will get some great use of your bikes.

Awwww.... you missed my home state of Illinois. It's waaaay better than Indiana. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just booked a cruise with your EECC travel with Lori. Looking forward to going on NCL next year
mayo on a deli sandwich.
LOVE a Crave Case of Sliders!!
Escaped Indiana almost 30 years ago moved out west.
Been to Indy Race track several times.
The museum used to be free is very historic and interesting but not worth $15.
Good call.
Silly EECC! Nothing ever goes RIGHT in Indianapolis! You always turn Left!
Haha!! That is so true 😃
Need to put dusseldorf mustard on White Castles
I live here it is terrible lol
Thanks for keeping me thoroughly entertained while I’m sheltering in place here in Southern California waiting for Tropical Storm Hilary to move through. You guys are always eating the yummiest food! 🤤
Hey, that deli food looks pretty good 👍

You went to the wrong deli in NYC. You have to go to Katz’s deli and then do the comparison. 😊

Indy is great other than the traffic and criminals, a new prosecutor and major would help .

The Indy 500 is not Nascar
Doesn’t Nascar run a race on this track too? Shows you how much I know.
Yes, there is a NASCAR race held on that track called The Brickyard 400. There is also a Grand Prix race, you just missed in mid-August.
Sounds like you guys had poor timing and we are all sorry for that. You missed some incredible places. Maybe google before you go.
Love Shapiro's, but you came to Indianapolis and didn't go to the. IMS Museum? I hesitate to use the term "uncultured swine" but . . .
So Indy was a bust because you didn’t do research before going.. got it
Pastrami with Swiss is a no no at a Jewish deli. That is not kosher style. Glad you enjoyed though.
Glad you didn't ask for mayo on your pastrami. That is a real NO NO in a Jewish Deli. That stuffed cabbage looked Soooo good. You need to get some kasha Varnikas and a knish and some lakes.

Because Indianapolis sucks! I moved here 4 years ago and am moving out of state next year 😊
Shapiros is terrible. Really didnt check out the right places. Shouldve gone fishing at the white
River with the rest of the van livers
