Umberto is famous for his body flexibility...when he bends his body something never anticipated really happens...actually he is hungry for the trophy...so one could expect that he garners something in the years to come....

Is this not among the most exquisite pieces of mesmerisingly expressive rumba dancing ever performed on a dance floor? it is for me, and I've seen most of them over many years. I just found out they no longer compete. I heard it had to do with some of the judging in wdsf. Who could blame them. This kind of sublime dance artistry is just not rewarded in todays dancsport. They are a huge loss and its a travesty and indictment on dancesport for contributing in cutting their competitive career short. Shameful.

I've watched these two in several other videos and what distincts them from others is rather than rousing us with gimmicky dance numbers they rely almost always on skills in their dance techniques, which is to say brilliant. Umberto is dashing in an earthy way and Louise is just a downright goddess. There's so much power and strength in their dancing. I hope they rethink their decision and return to the dance world. It's where they belong.
Jim R. Indeed! The real sad thing is they are far from the only ones. Pasha & Daniella another gorgeously artistic couple have been head hunted to dwts. as have many others. Sure the money and exposure is very lucrative and a big enticement, but I think so too is that they become disenchanted because their dance style isn't going to be rewarded enough and they will likely only end up in the forgotten scrapheap of dancesport history. Now who wants that! The pleasing thing is at least these kinds of dancers are very sought after elsewhere by others and how short sighted of dancesport to readily allow them to just walk away from their competitive careers years before their time. I don't understand it at all. Thanks for replying.

I just love this couple. They were truly one of the most creative duos to watch when they were together. And what a great choice of music.
It's always a plus when the dancers have the talent to perform a routine that compliments the music. This was danced beautifully.
