I do want to see Remco do well. He has also been thru heck of a recovery journey. Chapeau to all!
I agree , I really hope he's gonna be on the podium for sure in Paris
Absolutely - I admire the way that he kept pushing through so hard from the back, brilliant effort, never ever give up! Remco could well be the surprise this year..
산악에서 기적같이 붙어간다면 2번의 티티에서 우승을 꿈꿀 수도...
If he never fell off that Roman bridge he'd be even on a higher level right now. Love his confidence. He's my pick to win stage 7.
so true been asking myself everyday...what if he didnt fall of that god damn bridge
Yeah, he's still not a great descender and I always wonder how much is mental.
Too be fair I would be terrified, they're all bonkers to go that fast I can't imagine how fearless you'd have to be esp after a bad crash
He looks leaner. Love seeing him confident and riding aggressively.
Didnt expect from Remco such strong performance on this epic climb stage, also he did ride smarter by not trying to control and cover every attack or blow himself going after Pog and Jonas. Very good stage for Remco.
Kid is doing much better than I hoped for. Long may it continue.
Fantastic job.
A brilliant rider
You Rock dude
Very strong 🤍
His only "weakness" is not being able to accelerate quite as much as Tadej and Jonas on the last part of a climb, which is still insanely impressive considering the circumstances and the fact he is competing with them for the first time in the TdF. Without the accident, I think he would be have been a contender for the overall victory. I am rooting for him but I think this year it's not quite gonna happen (yet).
He could and would never be a contender for GC in a race where Pog and/or Jonas are in.
@@tonyg3091 I guess we will know within the next 10 years :D
great stage by Remco! he is becoming nicer also!
He just needs to enjoy himself and stay relaxed ...he will have great time trial and could win stage. he really belongs and more he realizes that better he will be because he has the talent to draw upon like tadej. Hes an athlete never mind a great cyclist and that has advantages over 21 stages. Learning curve is quick when that athletic he will surprise on gravel and already getting better at reduced bunch sprints hes full of fast twitch muscle.
If he rides his tempo on big mountain days he will minimize any gaps and could ush for 2nd with ayuso, rod, rog, jonas. Depends on if jonas fades in 3rd week when the base training isnt there you cant grow into tour like tadej showed last year you run out of gas.
Cant get into shape for tour at tour its a block that you dont get benefits for until you take break and recover. You dont have to be peaking but that engine needs to be there expect jonas to struggle by his standards week 3 but hes relentless and better pure climber
What'up~Tour~ that's unusual . see you soon-)
Think Remco is doing well and he is a threat to the other riders Young but has a lot to give in cycling
Allez, Remco!!!✊️
With a little luck, he can win the tour
No chance, Pogacar is in top form and UAE has a super team backing him up.
But will be good to see Remco, Roglic and Vingegard adding to the show
@@ruigouveia7494 I agree -- Pogacar is on a level of his own. But I have high hopes for Remco. He is a smart rider. He knows where his weaknesses are and deals with them. His mountain work has been better than at the Dauphiné -- by a country mile -- but he knows he is not in Pogacar's class in terms of an attack. He took the descent carefully. But that meant reserved energy, which he applied in the closing stages to lead the chasing pack in. If he keeps thinking, there is little limit to what he can accomplish.
I am much more concerned about Van Aert, also injured this past spring. He seems to be struggling a bit.
@@VLind-uk6mbi dont disagree with you that Remco has potential, but he is not at level with vingegard (in full form) and pogacar.
Only way for him to have a shot in this tour is if Pogacar has a bad luck crash or something.
Vingegard clearly in trouble from his crash few months ago, and Jumbo is clearly weakened compared to last year.
I think UAE this year will smash competition.
Ayuso, Almeida and Yates have all great potential to finish in top 10 and dont forget Soler did a mega job for Pogacar in the Giro.
@@ruigouveia7494 The UAE team is awesome. And they have a strategy.
Ineos, still reputedly the richest team, has too many people who think they should be leader. This was to some extent Visma's problem last year. Managed well it could offer Plan Bs, but there are a few egos kicking around that are not keen on playing back-up.
@@VLind-uk6mbUAE didn't look well organised to me today but they did gain time Need to keep their focus and stay calm
Remco is a fighter ,hope he beats Jonus
Lance have 7 tours🤘
Remco looks pretty good, fishboy is a wheelsucker, he never takes the offensive unlike pogi who is a real racer,I think Pogi ,Remco,Roglic are real racers ,fishboy is a whipped wheelsucker, maybe he should stay home & keep kissing his wife
lol so salty. I don’t remember Jonas being on the wheel while he was riding away from Pogacar on his own the last 2 years.
@@lukacherriman5266 Obviously ur a fanboy of fishboy
Tour de Farce.
non rischiate in discesa meglio perdere qualche secondo se quello avanti scende come un suicida
