I believe that this was the last appearance of June Foray as Rocky, for she died 3 years after this was made.
Passed the Microphone to Tara Strong for the next voice of Rocky Foray has no immediate surviving relatives
Too bad mr Peabody and Sherman didn’t show up for bullwinkle wedding
Yes I know. But if there was a new Rocky and Bullwinkle feature film from DreamWorks then I hope Mr. Peabody and Sherman would make cameos in it and so would Penny Peterson and her parents and Nell Finwick and Inspector Finwick Horse and George Ape Tookie Tookie Shep and Ursula with another version of her referred to as Fella. And still see the return of the cameos of Dudley Do-Right and Snidely Whiplash.
Eu queria que Peabody e sherman tivesse um segundo filme 😥😥😔😔
@@amandamartins.pinheiro3674 no live action Mr. Peabody & Sherman and speak English
She was 96 when she did this. Amazing.
@@jonmeyer3076 June Foray lived to be almost to the age of 100 years.
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Not necessarily. For the R&B short, yes. But the "Phox The Box And The Lox" short was produced around 1999, so she was roughly 82 at the time that one was released.
@@TheRetroOreo and she was still 82 when she did Rocky in the 2000 movie.
Rocky and Bullwinkle will forever be a classic. Despite the fact they had different voice actors for this. They kept the characters personalities and all the creativity that is the divine spark that the classic is known for. They kept everything true to its show, characters, their personalities and the themes as well las the creativity all nailed down to a T. I will admit that at one time or another. I used to dream of flying in the air like Rocky while I'd say something that would be a fitting quote.
actually i do believe this was june foray's last outing as rocket j squirell
Having Tom Kenny as Bullwinkle does make sense, because SpongeBob in the early seasons had a very rocky and Bullwinkle sense of humor
Awesome I had no idea this existed until today and man I really do miss Rocky and Bullwinkle there is a new animated series released but I feel like it went on a bit too long with 4 episode plots usually uses two parts
6:32 the fact how bullwinkle dance with the robot then the next scene shows boris fall makes it 😂 funny!!!
I can’t believe this rest in peace june foray she was my childhood
From the voice of tweety bird from the voice of Ursula from the voice of rocky J, she will be remembered in my heart
And Natasha rest in peace to her
Uhm if you mean Ursula in the Little Mermaid that wasn’t June Foray that was that late Pat Carrol
6:29-- I rather expected to see the heads of some of Jay Ward's other creations up on that wall-- King Leonardo, Chumley, Waldo P. Wigglesworth, maybe that bear who was briefly part of the RCMP in one Dudley Do-Right episode.
Jay Ward didn't create Chumley or King Leonardo. They were part of Total Television Productions.
So great to hear Corey Burton in the CGI short doing a Paul Frees and a Hans Conried impressions doing really good ones at that after all, he did meet both of those guys When he was younger, so that’s why he’s able to do such good impressions of those two guys
I lived in Hollywood back in the 80s. I used to drive past the statue of moose on sunset every day driving to work at UCLA. I remember moose and squirrel from the 60s, watching the cartoons at my grandparents house. Later I moved to the San Fernando Valley and lived near where the narrator’s street, named after him is.
Huh, I never heard of Fractured Fairy Tales before and especially the short of "The Phox, The Box, & The Lox."
I honestly didn't know that this was shown in front of Universal Pictures' adaptation of "Dudley Do-Right", and honestly for something made in 1999 it looks amazing and it looks very accurate to the limited animation of that era, kudos to the animation team behind the short.
If only the rocky and bullwinkle short was released in theater along with mr Peabody and Sherman instead of that almost home short
Yeah and it would’ve been a test for a feature film with Rocky and Bullwinkle
i blame that on Dreamworks greediness and corporate sabotage and creative incompetence
This was great! So much better than the 2000 live action movie, in that, with one exception, they kept to the spirit of the original. What was the exception? Rocky recognized Boris.
Yes. But this was the only time we saw the characters in computer animation by DreamWorks
We love Rocky and Bullwinkle and Boris and Shasta and fearless leader and Mr big yeah because they are awesome and the best and the greatest and amazing and all ways wicked!!!!.
My friend: why are you crying? It’s just a voice actor.
Me: it’s not just a voice actor it’s my childhood
@@jonmeyer3076 I’m talking about June foray our childhood, would never be the same without you foray you may be gone, but you sprayed many others
Why did Rocky recognize Boris and Natasha? It was literally a joke in the 2000’s movie how no matter how many years passed that Rocky and Bullwinkle never recognize them or know their names
Dudley do right-1999
Rocky and bullwinkle-2000
Mr Peabody and Sherman-2014
Since when did Rocky and Bullwinkle finally know Boris, Natasha and Fearless Leader’s names?
I've now just seen this.. and BY FAITHFUL TO HOGARTH, this is FABULOUSLY delightful! as one who grew up with "Moose and squirrel".. this is a nostalgic love hug with a GREAT BIG SQUEEZE of old mixed to new.. and again, it's a marvelous bit of fun made FRESH!
I, for one, would adore seeing a full length movie of "shorts" done in this style. It's HILARIOUSLY great FUN!! more, Please give us MORE!
Fearless Leader went to see U2 while his henchpeople suffered?
WHAT A MONSTER!!! HE NEVER INVITED THEM!!!
And where are Mr. Peabody and Sherman?
Mr. Peabody and Sherman are not In this short dummy. This is a short that was shown on the Blu-ray 3D disc of the Mr. Peabody and Sherman movie
That Short Was So Good That They Should Have Done A DreamWorks Rocky And Bullwinkle Movie

Tara strong voiced rocki, in the reboot, because the old one passed away
😢
I love the voice rules of the show, but I don’t really like Natasha’s new voice. I prefer the old one.

05:09 Queen Marcy wu: *cough*
Zig the hyena: ohh, Brother this is stinks!! (He sounded like the fish guy says oh Brother this guy is stinks)
I want rocky and bullwinkle to get a new movie to be announced instead of the cocomelon movie
Were these originally released theatrically and are either of these available on DVD or Blu-Ray?
Just the Fractured Fairy Tales short that was shown in theaters with the 1999 live action film Dudley Do-Right and is part of the movie on DVD VHS and Blu-ray. The Rocky and Bullwinkle short was originally going to be shown in theaters with Mr. Peabody & Sherman and it was to be a test for a theatrical computer animated feature film with the characters. But it was dropped and was replaced with a stupid alien themed short called Almost Home which was to promote the movie Home. So the Rocky and Bullwinkle short is only available on the Blu-ray 3D disc of Mr. Peabody & Sherman
Nice animation
@@jonmeyer3076 not a Big fan of CGI I miss the Old style of animation.
I am 66 and grew up w/ these guys. I didn't know this existed! Can someone please tell me exactly what I'm seeing? I understand it's June's last performance as Rocky, and the narrator is imitating Conrad, but who is doing all the other voices? Is it a computer simulation of the voices? They all sound so exact! Are there a lot of these shows? TIA
June Foray did Rocky Tom Kenny did Bullwinkle Robert Cait did Boris Lauri Fraser did Natasha Thomas Lennon did Fearless Leader and Robert Ben Garant did the narrator.
@@jonmeyer3076 thanks so much! But other than June, are these the original voices? They sound SO exact! Is this a series that I need to buy on dvd? I'm sorry for stupid questions. I'm old and have been out-of-touch w/ technology, for the most part, for the past two decades. Thanks, again
@@stangohr It was a short film made to show before the Peabody and Sherman movie. June Foray is the only original voice here, everyone else is a very spot on impression of the original cast.
I love rocky and bullwikll
@@JonathanRodriguez-fo6mr you typed in Bullwinkle the wrong way. The name is spelled B.U.L.L.W.I.N.K.L.E not B.U.L.L.W.I.N.K.L.L.
Shame there is no closed captioning as I struggle to hear some of the dialogue.
That Bullwinkle is just like Homer, Not only stupid but just plain lucky.
0:44 who was that narrating
That’s Robert Ben Garant narrating the short and he’s doing it in the style of William Conrad the original narrator for the old Rocky and Bullwinkle show
Are we just gonna ignore the fact that Boris and Bullwinkle are now married?
Why did they turn down the sound quality? There is no need to try to imitate the most worn footage.
Fractured fairytale with 800 Hz to 8000 Hz.
Did you now noticed the elephant in the room or do you need a photo?
8:09 look carefully you can see the Natasha’s not voiced by June foray she’s voice by someone else
Boy snidely whiplash has no taste in fashion just dressed up as a stereotypical villain not Even wanting modern up his suit
I’m sorry but we aren’t going to talk about Tom Kenny’s almost unrecognizable voice work as Bullwinkle?! I have heard Tom’s regular and cartoonish speaking voices and he has never done a voice that divorced from anything he’s voiced prior. Great work Tom! 👍
Tom Kenny was the wrong casting choice for Bullwinkle Keith Scott should have reprised his role as Bullwinkle and the narrator
It's good but the pop songs are unnecessary
@@jonmeyer3076 Yea. Also I feel like the idea for jokes are there but the execution could be a little better
If only dreamworks had simply thought of putting this short in theaters before the Peabody and Sherman movie, we could’ve gotten a full-length rocky and bullwinkle movie.
Yeah we could’ve
But at less dreamwork made the best one ever
🦅DreamWorks had a DREAM but I guess they didn't throw it into the WORKS
But we do have that Universal Rocky and Bullwinkle movie that came out in 2000.
