HOWEVER, now I listen to it and cannot resonate with it anymore as I feel there is a profoundly negative undertone, as if there is NOTHING we can do to change where humanity is going. In fact, there is, but it all depends on each individual, not on outside forces. Transhumanism is a real thing, it takes us places too uncomfortable for most people. There is an AI god that is transforming the collective's mentality to believe that the only way to go is technology. This is not true. It just wants to divert us from the spiritual path, and this song is not giving humanity any hope. Instead of Goodbye, the Scorpions should have said, Wake up! There is another way, but it is up to us alone.
