Tasuki was probably the first character I ever genuinely fell in love with, and I don't think I'll ever forget him. That was over 10 years ago now, and this song still really gets to me.

Both of them did not confessed to miaka, they just want her to be happy with the person she loves..They both protect her and cherished her with all they got.. Nuriko even gave his life and tasuki almost died when he tried to commit suicide in the OVA.. I wish Yuu Watase gave them both a chance.. TT^TT

I assume this song should be from taka (the new modern tamahome) to miaka from his humble yet strong love. his love enemies include the fake T and tasuki but he won't give up❤️. However, this is so touching when sung by tasuki, although he actually doesn't love m more than sister/friend/witch. Ah memories come flowing back as I think of this anime. It makes me want to watch it all over again. I love how Tasuki was portrayed in the series. I feel deeply sad for him...but it also makes me view him as strong to be able to love someone with all of his heart the way he did.
This song hits hard everytime I play it. It's just in OVA and brief but, his character in both the OVA and the series is very special to me. As for his love for Miaka, to his friends, as Tasuki and as himself. I love every bits of it. Fushigi Yuugi will never be the same without him.

He wasn't in love... he looked at Miaka more like a little sister. Then he was possessed by some spirit to try and rape Miaka. That's why, out of shame, he tried to burn himself but was rescued by Mitsukake at the last moment.
In the manga it was different after he burnt himself he was just healed by mitsukake and survived he say sorry for miaka and taka/tamahome many times although it's because he was put under a spell by some strange water he admit that he let his inner subconscious control him(that's how the spell works to take over your inner subconscious inside you)

What you don't realize is that Watase was writing more about Miaka's effect on all the 7 Seishi. Tasuki had always cared for Miaka, but like a sister, which he had stated earlier on. He was angry at Tamahome for hurting her because of that, unlike Hotohori. He was pushed by some supernatural spirit to try and rape her and he tried to kill himself after that. Mitsukake rescued him however.

+RC Deman the latest role I've heard from him in anime was an episodic role in Sakamoto Desu ga. But yeah, I really wish he'd appear in anime more these days.
RC Deman He reprised his role as Ryo Takatsuki from Project ARMS for a Pachinko back in 2013. And since the manga artist's previous work Spriggan is getting adapted by David Productions for Netflix. Chances are we might see a Full Remake of Project ARMS in the near future since the 2001 anime never got to fully adapt the story due to its 52 episode limit. I could see Canna still pull off Ryo.
in the sequel, when reborn T (new name taka) & miaka come back to the ancient China. taka is dissappearing due to evil demon, thus m crying & worrying. tasuki doesn't want m to be upset, thinking that m deserves happiness, if taka can't do it then some1 else should. Just this flash thought was distorted by demon, tasuki was possessed, becoming a beast then took m to hotel trying to make her 'happy' by his manly charisma... but m cried, he is shocked, stops to ask her why, assuming she should be joyful with his powerful care & love. taka also comes in, beaten by tasuki but wouldn't give up. m then told tasuki she's crying because of love for taka. and taka understands and doesn't hate tasuki at all. tasuki feels so guilty then sets fire on himself, swearing that he never betrays friends. fortunately saved on time by other warriors. .......long story.
When I was younger, I used to think that this song was beautiful and sad even though I could not understand the lyrics. Now that I'm older and can understand Japanese, all I can say to the writer is "HOW. DARE .YOU." It fucking hurts to listen to this (T___T)

What you don't realize is that Watase was writing more about Miaka's effect on all the 7 Seishi. Tasuki had always cared for Miaka, but like a sister, which he had stated earlier on. He was angry at Tamahome for hurting her because of that, unlike Hotohori.
He was pushed by some supernatural spirit to try and rape her and he tried to kill himself after that. Mitsukake rescued him however.
@@MarkAndreYapching in the manga it was a little bit different yes he also did pushed by some supernatural power which the effect will be to let your evil inner subconscious control you he said so in the manga that everyone has an evil inner subconscious and he let's it takes over him that's why he felt so ashamed and so he burnt himself he just get healed by mitsukake in the manga that's why he survived

He's still around~ At least in games - his most recent one is probably Axel Almer in Super Robot Wars OG: Moon Dwellers (he's been playing that guy for nine years now, through six games and one anime... and let's just say, that franchise isn't even over yet).

+RC Deman the latest role I've heard from him in anime was an episodic role in Sakamoto Desu ga. But yeah, I really wish he'd appear in anime more these days.
RC Deman He reprised his role as Ryo Takatsuki from Project ARMS for a Pachinko back in 2013. And since the manga artist's previous work Spriggan is getting adapted by David Productions for Netflix. Chances are we might see a Full Remake of Project ARMS in the near future since the 2001 anime never got to fully adapt the story due to its 52 episode limit. I could see Canna still pull off Ryo.

in the sequel, when reborn T (new name taka) & miaka come back to the ancient China. taka is dissappearing due to evil demon, thus m crying & worrying. tasuki doesn't want m to be upset, thinking that m deserves happiness, if taka can't do it then some1 else should. Just this flash thought was distorted by demon, tasuki was possessed, becoming a beast then took m to hotel trying to make her 'happy' by his manly charisma...
but m cried, he is shocked, stops to ask her why, assuming she should be joyful with his powerful care & love. taka also comes in, beaten by tasuki but wouldn't give up. m then told tasuki she's crying because of love for taka. and taka understands and doesn't hate tasuki at all.
tasuki feels so guilty then sets fire on himself, swearing that he never betrays friends. fortunately saved on time by other warriors.

I believe he also lays Kazeshini in Bleach too.e is Shuei's zanpaktou who i smurderous.Also he is in a band called F.M.U. or something.
