- So Kaiju no 8 is now streaming on Netfix worldwide, and judging from its first couple of episodes it looks like this series is going to be a hell of good time, which putting this kit together was too,,, a hell of a good time.
This was a kit I kind of stumbled on by accident whilst looking for any new news on upcoming Figure Rise dragon ball kits, and to my surprise Kaiju no 8 was listed for pre order!
We have the Figuarts version coming out in a weeks time, along with a couple more characters in the line to follow in the upcoming months, but I thought it’d be nice to sit down relax to some good music, and put together a fun model kit.
If you’re not familiar with figure Rise model kits, all you need are a pair of hobby side cutters, a and your trusty hobby knife clean things up. All pieces are snap together and are molded in the right colored plastic so no painting required either, although if you have the skills, you can definitely turn one of these into a work of art.
All instructions are clearly labeled and easy to follow. - Розваги

I was debating on getting SHF versus this model kit. I am always a bit too sloppy in model kit construction so i was hesitant to get this kit over the SHF but I REALLY just like the proportions of the kit better then the figure, not to mention the ab/waist articulation/construction just seems better then the SHF figuarts which look a little too blocking above the waist.
Yeah, good to see new anime get merchandise so early, pretty magical. This kit looks and performerd pretty well, great stuff Sir Eighty-sixed!

Been a while since you did a Figure rise Kit! I think I like this one more than the SHF one because I kinda like the FRS proportion more! also Stickers yuck 😢 I definitely gonna have to paint those green parts.
Also, total non-sequitur, but I’d lose it for some Sakamoto Days Figuarts. Bandai/Tamashii need to make that happen!
It's clever for Bandai to release the model kit at about the same time as the SH Figuarts. But considering their price is very close, with the model kit just slightly cheaper, the SHF is just better since it'll have a better build.
Shf one should have wider chest area to enhance the silhouette

Really is nice getting a new fig when the anime first starts airing aye! Def getting all the Kaiju8 SHF... tempting for the figrise too 😅
Are you getting the shf version? I was tempted to which one should I get either frs or shfiguarts 😌nvm, you already got one lol
I am not an adult, but I am smart enough and big enough to know not to mash my figures against each other.

@@eightysixedreviews didn't feel offended by that at all, but despite not mashing my figuires against each other my figure rise ultra instinct broke at the joint between the abs and the chest after 4 years of good service, wish more figure rises from dragon ball would release. They are cheaper alternative that is most of the time better than dragon stars which are the other cheap alternative for sh. I still buy sh but figure rise are also very nice.
This is like 25 bucks overpriced. Barely as much plastic as an hg... this is a joke.
It's just about $35. That's really cheap. You shouldn't be collecting if that's too expensive for you. 😅
