I was always amazed PG agreed to write music for the second film, when he said he didn't like the first one!

Im learning it now as I wasn't a big fan of the 2nd movie ( I watched it as a child and never went back to see it....) and didn't even bother looking music from it up as I had heard indeed that he didn't appreciate working on the first movie. I will be glad to discover this new composition.
I am tempted to give the film a try just because Mr Glass did the music for it. His score for the Candyman movie was impeccable. This so far ('m 5 mins in) is quite something as well!!

It's not that he didn't like it. It's that he had no idea the movie was going to be what it was, and because of that felt he could've wrote a more fitting score. He was shocked when he saw it because he knew very little about the production.

They wasted this soundtrack in the movie. The movie can’t go on 3 minutes without this or the first movie music playing. The original movie music works because they know when to play it.
