Went to a Panda car wash in Dawsonville GA. The conveyor belts were the coolest thing I've ever seen in a car wash.. So smooth..

They’re way better. It’s mind boggling that NEW car washes are using the old roller and chain system. I still cannot understand why. The belts are exponentially better and easier for customers. Waayyyyyy less stressful

As working at many washes over 7 years. I love to see flat belts are becoming more common as wash industry is starting to modernize. Track and chains are durable and strong, but expensive as needed constant maintenance or slipping from those breaking happy customers on their phones.

I haven't worked at a car wash for nearly that long, but I have worked in 2 different sites for the same company, both with chain conveyors over the last 9 months. I haven't had any problems with drivers causing the chain to slip; if the vehicle brakes, then they just pop a roller. What causes the slippage?
