That one horse was pinning his ears trying to protect his food😂 we have horses that do that. Like we just gave you the food we’re not going to take it back😂
I absolutely adore your videos! On youtube and instagram. I swear I can’t get enough of your super talented and adorable horses and your incredible riding and horsemanship❤️
This was absolutely fascinating to watch. I’m not even sure why it was recommended but I’m so glad it did. I’m now a new subscriber. Such personalities they have. I’ve loved horses since I was a little girl and always thought they’re such majestic animals. I don’t know why I never did anything regarding horses not that I still can’t. My oldest wants a Friesian horse but before that she’s doing a LOT of research...my youngest loves horses and has a pink toy horse since she was a toddler...my youngest has a way with animals...it seems like most animals just flock to her...her aura is strong😁. I’ll have to watch all these videos now. Just fascinating. Thank you for showing us your beautiful babies.
I just arrived to this channel and this is the first video I have seen, and fr i thought this channel was years old and it is only two months old!! It really did amaze me, you are so profesional and we can see your passion for horses!! I love it 🥰
This is so satisfying to watch. I am not able to ride while im in school and I miss everthing. Even the sounds of grain being mixed and buckets bumping together apparently literally music to my ears 🤣🤦♀️
D is so cute! you have a really hard job at the barn but that's life you are a great horse trainer and great owner! I watch you all the time now. I can relate to you because I have horses and a barn and it's very fun living on a ranch!
Awesome video!! I love watching you ❤❤ Does the facility you train at feed the hay and clean the stalls or is that your responsibility also? Its so interesting, we don't have anything like that where I'm from.
I didn’t know Hygain was an international brand. I am in Australia and thought they were Aussie owned and made. Either way I love their food they are the best!
What a huge barn and area😲 But if I had to choose between my barn I work at and that one I would definitely choose the one I work at😅 as we only have 20 stalls a couple of runs and a bunch of pastures and trails, easier to clean the stalls in time and to check on all the horses.
One time me and my friends were going on a trail ride and it was sunny and i checked on my phone and the weather was supposed to be sunny but on the way back it was pouring rain and we all got soaked and even when I walked you could hear the water sloshing in my boots but it was a good trail ride 😂
Question, How did you start your mustang training career? Could you make a video(s)? I wanna try it at one point, probably next year or something, starting easy with a broke but could use liberty and maybe jump training and tricks, but it would be helpful to know how you started.. if you already made a video could you direct me to It?
Most supplements I’ve ever seen. YET your ottbs are such gorgeous horses. So it’s got to be working. No judgment at all! I’ll be doing the same as you hopefully when I get a ottb this year. Looking forward to the video on supplements. Also can you do a video on picking and buying the ottb?
Hey, Zoey, instead of lifting each bucket and getting water on yourself why not have a slightly longer hose and back the gator up to the door and fill while they are in the back of the gator? Then you don’t have to lift each bucket and you don’t spill on yourself. Work smarter not harder I always say!
Were you in Pony Club? I see you have stall cards for your horses. In my area, only active Pony Club members or riders with a background in USPC seem to use them.
Elizabeth Chapman Nope! It’s more common than you’d think, especially at a facility with this many horses. It’s nice to have the cards right there, as they have emergency contacts, a photo in case the horse gets loose, what they eat, allergies, etc. Not a problem at smaller barns but when there’s this many it helps in a pinch.
curious, how long does it take to feed your whole team? do you normally have to fill water buckets too? i'm from Aus so we don't have big barns like this so massive credit to you! very dedicated and attention to detail is flawless x
Zeynep Arslan They are fed their hay morning and night and the bucket routine once per day for most and a second feeding for a few depending on what they need. Watch my “Feeding 12 horses” video!
antelope19 Thanks! Have you watched my Barn Tour video? It may answer some questions but if it didn’t, it’s basically just how it has to be. Some need more space, some just aren’t available because of other clients of the barn, some are kept in box stalls to prevent injury or if they’re new, there are many factors involved.
See, the thing is... if you don't want to get up and do your chores you don't really have an option. It's 12 horses. And you have to feed all of them. Every day.
why so much water? it doesn’t need that much water? horses enjoy eating solid grain more so. we normally only use water if there is a choking hazard, well that much anyways.
I use a lot of water with my horses grains... its way better for their digestive system and slowsl them down so they dont choke.. plus its added water for the winter when horses dont tend to drink much...
I appreciate your opinion however, yes, they do. I always increase hydration whenever possible to decrease the risk of choke and colic, especially for my climate of warm winters and hot summers. Horses need to have as much water as they possibly can. Most of my horses prefer soupy/watery grain. There are no negative side effects to the water. There are however, negative side effects to feeding dry.
ZL Equestrian thank you! that’s great information, never thought of it that way! we use beet pulp as well & obviously it’s soaked in warm water as well but we never added extra water jut to the older ones & that have choking hazards! but i like that idea! 😊
I love how you have all color coordinated buckets! I didn’t even know that much colors existed!!!!!!
Andy StPierre Haha! I have every color they make and really need them to make more at this point 😂
You’re so pretty Zoey! And I so admire how careful and attentive you are with each individual horse. 🥰🐴
Kari Griffin Thank you Kari 💕
When D comes and gives you a kiss in the turnout that is so cute 🥺😍
Ponies On Wheels Haha thanks! He’s a big kisser.

What goes into it
Amber Cav AUS Absolutely!
Videos like this keep me encouraged and motivated when dealing with horses!
I really enjoy your videos not only on Instagram but on here. So professional!!!
Kayleigh Eustace Thanks Kayleigh! 💕

Elizabeth Eventing Thank you! ❤️
This is the first video that I’ve watched of yours! It is really professional. How many horses are at your barn and how many do you own?
Holly_._eq ! she did a meet the horses video which should answer both of those questions!💕 it’s only a few back
Thanks so much!

Low key suggestion.... reverse the buggy into the shed and fill up the buckets from the tray ;) no having to lift water buckets 😀

Love to see dedicated horse owners treating their horses with horse needs first
That ending with D was so cute!
That’s a good idea washing buckets out straight away 😂 mine would be clean if I did that.
How long does it take u to do that feed run?
Sheena Shapland over an hour :)
love the organised routine and the bucket cleaning is a great idea. do the horses ever get turned out together so they can play and groom?
6420lisa Not usually with each other.
A labor of love. How many horses total are at your facility?
So hard working! Inspiring :)
You should do a video “All about my Heart Horse: D” 😬

I noticed cali was in the outdoor stalls in the feeding video.. do you alternate them so they each get a chance to be out? Love the video again! 😁
EquestrianMarie She was living out there during that video, then she moved inside, and now she’s back outside as of yesterday. It’s complicated 😂
ZL Equestrian 😂😂 thats ok! thanks for replying 😁
Hi watching from Germany 🙋what a huge barn👍How do you do to keep snakes away from the horses? (We have non venomous in Germany).

So interesting to watch. I have a horse too and I live in Switzerland and many things are different 🙈
Love these type of videos 😘
My dads very very likely to get a dapple grey horse in a few weeks!!!!!!

Ms.MatchedSocks I got it at Michaels!

Nice cowboy boots!! You do also western riding?
do your horses get put in a pasture or are they kept in the small paddocks all the time?
lola schroeder they dont have pasture. They are in stalls and then get turnout a few times a week.

Do you have any volunteers or workers that help you at feeding etc?
Jessie Lynn Hay is fed by the barn staff for everyone on the property.
