What happens to GSTR-1 data on portal which was Auto-populated from the E-invoice data? Does Tally overwrite that data during GSTR-1 upload? Also, if Tally data was mistakenly altered after e-invoicing, then do we get an invoice-level comparison between Tally and Auto-populated GSTR-1 data before uploading, where we can either accept or resolve(rectify/undo) the affected Tally voucher/s before doing GSTR-1 upload?
Once the E-Invoice is generated and there are changes made in the invoice, the same will reflect in the E-invoice report as "Voucher information mismatch with QR Code". Also while exporting the GSTR 1 in the Basis of Value you can enable the option "Include e-Invoices (with IRN information)" and export. To ensure the security of sensitive business data being transmitted through APIs, the government has implemented OTP based mechanism. Only authorized persons with valid OTP can perform online GST activities.
