    My zanussi makes that same creaking noise, it’s something to do with the belt. I was going to replace it on mine but I’m not really bothered by it as it goes away after a while of washing

    Put a little bearing grease on the belt running surface and this squeaking should go away

  • @commenter1291
    @commenter1291 2 роки тому +1

    The creaking is due to the belt being cold and the fact the load was quite heavy, its honestly nothing to worry about. Once you do a hot wash it should dissappear.

    That belt noise it's making is normal since that's the sound of the belt sliping slightly which my Hotpoint Smart Tech does the exact same thing sometimes

    The 10yr warranty is just parts… which is the cheap part of a repair but you still have to pay for labour which is easily hundreds. The full warranty is just 1yr as it’s Indesit quality

    I had the exact same machine spun great empty but under load the bearings made that same noise, tightened belt was ok for a while but then bearings started making the same noice . Eventually the drum Would jam and belt slip off bit of spray grease on bearings itd do a few more washes . It did 11 years so not that bad for a modern machine awful at spinning very fussy on slightly unbalanced loads . Sealed drum so bearings couldn't be replaced. Bought a second hand miele for €120 love it !! Sooooo quiet !

    Has to be belt noise.My Siemens (4 years old?)has exactly the same noise now and then.Spray something(water,window cleaner) on the belt to see if it goes away.Perhaps it's the belt "climbing" on the ridges?If so,I wonder if it's possible to move the belt position one step on the motor pulley.Perhaps that jhelps.I'll try it on mine the next time it occurs.
    Or simply turn the belt half a turn around?
    I would first try rubbing a wax candle against the belt.

    it's normal that it was going into spin then stopping and tumbling again, and repeating this for 10 minutes or so. i have an indesit like this, and it does exactly the same. it's just how they're programmed.

  • @GeniusSL

    The creaking is just the belt, had a machine doing that too when I got it.
    The Bekos and the Indesit featured in this video look good enough to sell if they work imo. Or give them away, they are pretty modern machines, someone may be interested in it. Otherwise there's a good buildup of appliances again, lol

    For me it looks like the pcb has gone crazy. That's why it jumps to other cycles too! The led indicator on dry is on bcz the machine jumps from wash directly to dry and thats why the machine blinks as well for the dryer its normal to blow cold air cuz it has water

    This morning I got an IWDE 7125, and I couldn't get the concrete off in any way, due to those springs you mentioned at 3:05. How to I get them off, please?

    • @bootsowen
      @bootsowen  3 місяці тому

      Hi, you have to try to unscrew them, but they are tight, so try to get the upper end into the centre with a screwdriver or something and then get a small needle nose vice grips onto it, then twist it out like a screw. Good luck, theyre not meant to come out.

  • @charleysmith7565
    @charleysmith7565 2 роки тому +1

    This has happened to me in the past and I think the engineer had adjusted the motor a bit which did something. A possible solution to look at there
    Side note: I noticed when it's full of water, as the drum is stopping, the creaking isn't present, so the cause of the creaking as I suspected is likely in the motor

    Looks in great nick - its less then 10 years old for sure!
    usually they work good, and it did sound rickety but i think thats just the dryer housing loose maybe.
    i would suspect it works great, and its just the heating element on dryer thats failed... it will run the dryer but probs cold. run the dryer see if it gets hot.
    the other thing is run the 90 cycle... if it runs fine. then its works great.. watch out for all the lights flashing.

    • @bootsowen

  • @TheMRStasikk

    Maybe it's a motor issue. You say, that it was about 10 mins in a distribution phase, and couldn't spin, also I noticed that when it starts spinning, it seems it slows down, then it notices and ramps up again and still slows down a little. Judging by the sound, ofc.
    The crackling noise is only when the tub full of water. Maybe the problem with brushes, because the board sends too much power to rotate it. Just my guesses.

  • @mielekid.w1613
    @mielekid.w1613 2 роки тому +1

    I think it’s because of the fact they were using rinse and it was washing badly. Although I saw one that people were using fastwash on aswrll

  • @Motherboard686
    @Motherboard686 2 роки тому

    That's the noise of the belt slipping on the motor pulley. Touch a dry bar hand soap to the inner part of the belt while it's running and the noise should just disappear right away!

  • @mrwasherguy4948
    @mrwasherguy4948 2 роки тому +1

    The belt is normal if you do a 90 degreases boilwash it might go out its because of the cold and if you put som wd 40 for plastic ond the belt it will go fine
