අතිපූජනීය හසලක සීලවිමල ස්වාමීන්වහන්සේ
යස්ස පාරං අපාරංවා, පාරා පාරන්න විජ්ජතී.
මහණෙනි, එතෙරද මෙතෙරද දෙතරම නැති තැනක තමයි, බ්‍රාහ්මණත්වය මතුවන්නේ.
ලෝකය ලුහුබඳින මමත් ඉන්නවා, ලුහුබඳින ලෝකයත් තියෙනවා ආශ්‍රව එක මිටකට දකින්න.
මමත්වය දුර්වල කරන තැන තමයි, දිට්ඨි ආශ්‍රව කැඩිල යන්නෙ.
දිට්ඨි ආශ්‍රව නිසයි සත්වයා නිරයට වැටෙන්නේ.
සසර නම් බඹලොව වත් ඕනි නෑ.
අරහත්වය ගැන කතාකරල වැඩක් නෑ, සෝවාන් වෙලාවත් නැති නිසා.
කාමාශ්‍රව, භවාශ්‍රව තිබුනට දිට්ඨි ආශ්‍රව නැති කෙනා අපායට යන්නෑ.
ධර්මය ජීවිතයට ගලපගන්න කොට බොහෝම පරිස්සමින් ලං කරගන්න ඕනෙ.
Most Venerable Hasalaka Seelawimala Thero,
"Yassa pāraṁ apāraṁvā, pārā pāranna vijjatī."
It is in a place where neither this shore nor the far shore exists that Brahminhood emerges.
Do not think that attaining Sotāpanna (stream entry) is something difficult.
Both the self that clings to the world and the world it clings to exist. One must see the dependency clearly.
It is where self-view (mamatva) weakens that diṭṭhi-āsava (view-based influxes) begin to break.
It is due to diṭṭhi-āsava that beings fall into hellish states.
Samsara (the cycle of rebirth) does not need even your intervention.
There is no use in speaking about arahantship when Sotāpanna has not yet been achieved.
Even if kāmāsava (desire-based influxes) and bhavāsava (existence-based influxes) are present, one without diṭṭhi-āsava will not fall into states of woe.
When integrating the Dhamma into life, one must approach it with great care and mindfulness.
